Part-Time Entitlement. All employees who are regularly scheduled less than seventy-five (75) hours on a bi-weekly basis, shall be entitled to vacation pay based upon the applicable percentage of their gross earnings provided in accordance with the vacation entitlement for employees who are scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis on the following basis: 2 week entitlement - 4% 3 week entitlement – 6% 4 week entitlement – 8% 5 week entitlement – 10% 6 week entitlement – 12% 7 week entitlement – 14% Casual part-time employees will be paid vacation pay in accordance with the above entitlement on gross earnings. Equivalent years of service will be based on the casual part-time employee's seniority established under Article 9.01 and will be calculated on the basis that 1800 (one thousand and eight hundred) hours of part-time service shall equal one (1) year of full-time service and vice-versa.

Part-Time Entitlement. (a) A part-time employee shall be granted annual leave in accordance with this clause, however payment to a part-time employee proceeding on annual leave shall be calculated having regard for any variations to the employee's ordinary working hours during the accrual period. (b) Should any public holidays prescribed under Clause 28. - Public Holidays fall within the period of the employees leave and is observed on a day on which that employee would normally work, one day shall be added to the period of leave for each holiday so occurring.
Part-Time Entitlement. 29.2.1 A part-time staff member is entitled to either annual vacation time or vacation pay based on earnings at the following rates for each completed year of employment: i. Prior to an employee completing the equivalent of two years of full-time employment, part-time employees will earn vacation pay equivalent to 4% of earnings; ii. Following completion of the equivalent of two years of full-time employment, part- time employees will earn vacation pay equivalent to 6% of earnings; iii. Following completion of the equivalent of eight years of full-time employment, part- time employees will earn vacation pay equivalent to 8% of earnings; iv. After 15 years of continuous service, Employees will receive 1 bonus week of vacation to be taken in year 16 with no carry over provision. This benefit will be pro- rated for Employees working part-time hours;
Part-Time Entitlement. For part-time employees employed in any classification other than the Registered Nurse classification, eighteen hundred (1800) hours paid is equivalent to one year of service. Part-Time Entitlement. 23.3.1 A part-time employee shall be entitled to annual leave on a pro-rata basis of the leave prescribed in clause 23.1 for a full-time employee. 23.3.2 Provided that where the ordinary hours for a part-time employee have varied over a period of accrual for annual leave, the average ordinary hours shall be determined and used as the basis for calculating the payment for annual leave.

(b) Vacations - Interruption i) Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a serious illness which requires hospitalization and commenced before and continues into the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave provided the employee provides satisfactory documentation of the hospitalization. ii) Where a vacationing employee becomes seriously ill requiring her to be an inpatient in a hospital, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave provided that the employee provides satisfactory documentation of the hospitalization. iii) The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be sick leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits.
Part-Time Entitlement. Except as provided in the *Note below 13.02, all part-time employees shall receive vacation with pay based on length of part-time continuous service calculated as follows: (a) An employee who has less than one year of continuous service will receive four percent (4%) of gross earnings. (b) A part-time employee who has completed 1800 hours or more of continuous service shall receive two (2) calendar weeks of vacation with vacation pay in the amount of 4% of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter. Effective July 1, 2003, a part-time employee who has completed 5400 hours or more of continuous service, shall be entitled to three (3) calendar weeks of vacation with vacation pay in the amount of six percent (6%) of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter. (d) A part-time employee who has completed 18,000 hours or more of continuous service, shall be entitled to four (4) calendar weeks of vacation and shall be entitled to vacation pay in the amount of eight percent (8%) of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter. Effective September 18, 2002 of the Memorandum of Settlement, a part-time employee who has completed 14,400 hours or more of continuous service, shall be entitled to four (4) calendar weeks of vacation and shall be entitled to vacation pay in the amount of eight percent (8%) of subsequent earnings earned thereafter. (e) A part-time employee who has completed 36,000 hours or more of continuous service shall be entitled to five (5) calendar weeks of vacation, and shall be entitled to vacation pay in the amount of 10% of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter. Effective September 18, 2002 of the Memorandum of Settlement, a part-time employee who has completed 27,000 hours or more of continuous service shall be entitled to five (5) calendar weeks of vacation, with vacation pay in the amount of ten percent (10%) of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter. (f) Effective July 1, 2008, a part-time employee who has completed 41,400 hours or more of continuous service shall be entitled to six (6) calendar weeks of vacation, with vacation pay in the amount of twelve percent (12%) of subsequent gross earnings earned thereafter.
