If requested by the Alliance President, the University will provide to the Alliance, up to twice each year, a report of hours worked by part-time staff members. If requested by the Alliance President, the University will meet with the Alliance to discuss the hours worked by part-time staff members.

If requested by the Alliance President, the University will meet with the Alliance to discuss the hours worked by part-time staff members.
Part-time Staff Members. A part-time staff member may be required to work additional time outside of his/her contracted schedule for SIP Days, Institute Days, Parent/Teacher Conferences and/or additional days due to the district’s use of emergency days. When such additional work is required, the building principal or the Director for Special Services shall notify the staff member, who shall be eligible for additional compensation on a per diem basis. Additionally, there may be occasions when either the part-time staff member or the building principal believes that the part-time staff member should work additional time to attend to other school-related activities or responsibilities. If pre-approved by the building principal and the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Planning, the part-time staff member shall be eligible for additional compensation on a per diem basis. To receive compensation for any approved/required additional work time, the part- time staff member shall submit a time sheet to the Payroll Department. The part- time staff member shall receive compensation within thirty days of the submission of the time sheet.

Part-time Staff Members a) These provisions shall apply to part-time staff members. However the requirement to work overtime must be made with the agreement of the part-time staff member.
Part-time Staff Members. 15.2.1 The parties recognise that there may be valid reasons for the normal working hours of a part-time staff member to be varied. Since the usual reasons for seeking part-time employment are because of other commitments, any variation must be mutually agreed to by the part-time staff member and department manager.

  • Permanent Part-Time Employees (1) Pay and benefits will be computed on a prorated monthly or pay period basis, such as one-half (½) monthly or pay period pay for a half-time employee, or pay will be computed on an hourly basis, and pay and benefits will be normally prorated on a pay period, pay status basis.   • Part-Time Teachers A "part-time teacher" is one who is employed under written contract but who is assigned to duties on a regular basis that requires less than a full-time equivalent. A part-time teacher shall be paid a salary in accordance with the basic salary schedule, proportionate to the percentage of the full-time equivalent taught each day as outlined in the written contract.

  • Part-Time Faculty A faculty member whose appointment is for a specified period of time and does not meet the full load requirements for an Academic Year as defined herein. Such appointment carries with it no promise or expectation of continued employment. Such appointments are not applicable towards tenure.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.
