Payment for Time Worked on a Public Holiday. 5.7.8 Day workers required to work on a public holiday shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time and one half. The double time and a half is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty. Employees will also be entitled to an agreed day off in lieu of the Public Holiday.
