Premium Overtime on the employee’s straight time hourly rate, shall be paid on the following basis: (a) Time and one-half shall be paid for all authorized work performed on a daily basis in excess of an employee’s regular shift, provided the employee works all his scheduled hours on that shift. A daily basis shall consist of a 24 hour period with the employees regular shift centrally positioned. All hours worked on Saturday, Sunday and holidays will be paid as per 12.01, 12.05 (b) (c) (d). (b) Authorized work performed on Saturday will be paid at time and one- half for the first four (4) hours and at double time thereafter. (c) Double (2) time shall be paid for all authorized work performed on Sundays. (d) Authorized work performed on a plant holiday will be paid at double (2) time in addition to plant holiday pay as provided in paragraph 14.01.
Premium Overtime a. Premium overtime shall be calculated on the straight time rate. 1) Employees shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2x) times the straight rate for hours actually worked which exceed the hours of a regularly scheduled shift of eight (8) hours or more a day. 2) Regardless of the employee’s assigned shift, the University shall pay double time pay for hours worked over twelve consecutive hours in a day. 3) This provision shall become effective for employees paid on a monthly basis the pay period beginning on October 1, 2019 and for those employees paid by bi-weekly the pay period beginning October 6, 2019.

Premium Overtime. Should employees be called out to work on a recognized holiday, weekend, or scheduled day off, all hours worked shall be paid at two (2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay in compensatory time.

For the purpose of this Section “hours worked” shall include only hours actually worked and hours for which the employee is on approved paid leave other than sick leave or workers’ compensation/injury leave.

This classification will include both Production Service Clerks and within the department. will be selected on the basis of skill, qualifications, merit and ability to the work. The duties of can include all aspects of the Cutter and they will be under the guidance of same. When a Cutter position becomes available, those in the department with two thousand (2,000) hours will be considered for the position. If the are not suitable or are not available to fill a Cutter position, the Employer has the right to hire outside. Upon reclassification to Cutter, the will be credited with one thousand (1,000) hours for the purpose of establishing their rate on the Cutter scale.
