Responsibilities of the Hirer. 2.1 For the duration of the letting period, the Hirer will be responsible for ensuring the following: (a) That all their attendees are made aware of the fact that they are attending the School premises at their own risk. (b) A named person to take responsibility for the conduct of all people present for the letting period and ensure that they behave in a safe manner and do not create risks to themselves or others. (c) Where necessary, an agreed number of supervisory staff, wearing identity apparel must be present to control access and behaviour of the people attending the premises; the number of such supervisory staff required to be determined by the head teacher at the time of the booking. (d) No School equipment, other than that specified at the time of letting and on the booking form is used. School furniture shall not be moved by the Hirer except by arrangement with the Caretaker or person informed by the School to the Hirer as holding custodianship for the time being, for example a relief caretaker. (e) Facilities and equipment are used in a responsible manner so that it does not compromise the safety of the users, premises or equipment. (f) Familiarity with the location of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, telephone, and first-aid facilities; and that normal and emergency procedures are followed. (g) Establishing an emergency evacuation procedure detailing who will be responsible for coordination, calling emergency services, and where to assemble. Consideration should also be given to the needs of any disabled participants. (h) Keeping emergency exits, fire extinguishers and alarm points free from obstruction. (i) Ensuring adequate walkways are available to allow free and easy access and exit. (j) In the event of an accident the School must be informed as soon as reasonably possible. (k) Strictly no use of gas cylinders or canisters used inside the premises and combustible materials placed away from heat sources. (l) Strictly no use of flammable, naked flames and/or hazardous substances (including but not limited to the restrictions under the Fire Precautions Regulations 2003 as may be amended from time to time) including the use of candles, oil heaters and lamps, and mobile cooking devices. (m) Making arrangements to ensure the premises are secured at the end of the letting period if appropriate. Responsibilities of the Hirer. 6.1. The Hirer shall: 6.1.1. Be responsible for all persons using the Room under the Booking including the conduct of such; 6.1.2. Ensure that the Library Room is vacated by the expiration of the time of hire shown on the Booking Form; 6.1.3. Permit the Council or its responsible designated employees to enter the Library Room at all times; 6.1.4. Pay the Hire Charge in accordance with these Conditions of Hire; 6.1.5. Leave the Library Room in a clean and tidy condition in the state that it was found; 6.1.6. Comply with these terms and conditions and any specific booking procedures/conditions applicable to the Library room as imposed by the Council; 6.1.7. Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation in using the Room and any instructions in relation to such from the Council; 6.1.8. Not cause damage to the Room, building, Council equipment and other visitors to the buildings, neighbouring buildings, nor to alter the Room in any way. Any damage must be reported to the Customer Service Manager immediately; 6.1.9. Inform the Customer Service Manager in the event of an accident or emergency; 6.1.10. Not do or permit to be done in the room or any other part of the building any activity which is illegal or which may cause a nuisance, damage, annoyance or inconvenience or interference to the Library Room or users, owners or occupiers nor anything which may adversely affect or invalidate any insurance in respect of the Library; 6.1.11. Ensure that nothing is done in the Library Room in contravention of any law relating to gaming, gambling, betting and lotteries; 6.1.12. If requested, produce all certificates and licences relevant to the Booking to Council Staff prior to the Booking Date; 6.1.13. Be responsible for familiarising themselves and their group if relevant with the fire exits in the building and meeting points. In the event of fire, the Hirer is responsible for ensuring the safe evacuation of all attendees; 6.1.14. Be responsible for carrying out an appropriate risk assessment for their use of the Library room; and

Responsibilities of the Hirer. 1. Hirer must look after the vehicle and the keys to the vehicle. Hirer must keep vehicle locked when not in use, and use any security device fitted to or supplied with the vehicle. Hirer should always protect the vehicle against bad weather which can cause damage. Hirer should make sure that the correct fuel is used. Xxxxx is responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by hitting low level objects, such as bridges or low branches. 2. Hirer should not sell, rent or dispose of the vehicle or any of its parts. Hirer must not give anyone any legal rights over the vehicle. 3. Xxxxx should not let anyone work on the vehicle without DMH’s permission. If DMH do grant permission, a refund will be given if a receipt for the work is provided. Receipts will be checked. 4. Hirer must let the operator know immediately of any fault in the vehicle or any damages or breakages, however small. Regardless of any blame, we need to be prepared if items need repairing or replacing for the subsequent hire to yours. Reporting faults, damages or breakages prior to returning the vehicle will save you money as penalties are applied if you do not report them. A guide to penalties is available on the website, and extensive list is included in these terms and conditions. 5. Xxxxx should return vehicle to the place agreed, at the time agreed and remain responsible for the vehicle until this time. The operator must see the vehicle to check that it is in good condition. 6. Xxxxx will be responsible for payment of repairs if:  The vehicle needs more than standard changeover valeting (cleaning) including upholstery, furniture & floors  Xxxxx has damaged any part of the vehicle, inside or out 7. Xxxxx should return vehicle empty of personal belongings. 8. Mileage above limit is calculated upon return and charged at current rate per mile (limit and charge on website). 9. Xxxxx is responsible for any loss or damage including that caused by neglect, misuse, accident or not your fault. If the hirer is found to have damaged the vehicle through negligence, and/or no other vehicle was involved, the hirer will be responsible for FULL RECTIFICATION COSTS. Responsibilities of the Hirer. 4.1 Prior to taking possession of each of the Trailers, the Hirer must inspect each Trailer and bring to the Company’s attention any defects, damage or mechanical malfunction which must be noted on the Check Out/Check In Sheet. The Hirer will sign the Check Out/Check in Sheet when taking possession of the relevant Trailer. 4.2 At the end of the Agreement or, where applicable, the end of any continued hire period for the Trailers, the Hirer must return the Trailers to the Company at the Return Location, and each Trailer must be in good and proper condition and in accordance with the Return Conditions. 4.3 At the time of return of the Trailers the Hirer must sign the relevant Check Out/Check in Sheet and agree on it any defects, damage or mechanical m a l f u n c t i o n of any of the Trailers which mean such Trailer is not in accordance with the Return Conditions. The Hirer will pay such excess and other return condition c ha rg e s as are calculated at that time. Where a Company employee is unavailable to countersign any Check Out/Check in Sheet, liability for the condition of the Trailers will remain with the Hirer until such time an inspection can be made. 4.4 At all times when any of the Trailers are hired to the Hirer, in relation to each of the Trailers, the Hirer shall: 4.4.1 Ensure that all lubricants, fluids and coolants are kept to the manufacturer’s specified levels and that all tyre pressures are maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 4.4.2 Ensure that the Trailer is returned at the direction of the Company for Servicing within three days of the Company requesting its return (or the request and at the direction of the rental company if the provisions of Condition 9 apply to the Trailer); and to allow the Company to enter its premises to inspect the Trailer at any time in normal working hours. 4.4.3 Not cause, permit or undertake neither any repairs to the Trailer without the prior express permission in writing of the Company nor, if any repairs are required, to use the Trailer until it has been properly and fully repaired. 4.4.4 Not cause, permit or suffer the removal or tampering with any plates, marking, paintwork or bodywork or sign writing upon the Trailer. 4.4.5 Ensure that that the Trailer is driven only by a person nominated by the Hirer who must: 4.4.5.1 Be at least 21 years of age; and 4.4.5.2 Be the holder of a current licence permitting the Driver to drive the Trailer in the Republic of Ireland or operate an...

Responsibilities of the Hirer. 7.1 The Hirer shall: 7.1.1 Ensure that the Facility are vacated by the expiration of the time of hire shown on the Application Form. 7.1.2 Permit NFCT or its responsible designated employees to enter the Facility at all times. 7.1.3 Pay the Total Hire Charge in accordance with these Conditions of Hire. 7.1.4 Leave the Facility in a clean and tidy condition, properly locked and secured unless directed otherwise in writing by the Facility Manager or his/her authorised representative. 7.1.5 The hirer is solely responsible for any minor first aid incidents on site in relation to their booking. The hirer should provide their own first aid and must be administered by a competent person. FSZ staff are on hand to oversee any major incidents or accidents. 7.2 At the expense of the Hirer: 7.2.1 Provide stewards to control entrance to the Facility and to preserve order during the Application for Hire; 7.2.2 Properly supervise car parking arrangements so as to avoid obstruction of any adjoining or neighbouring highway. 7.2.3 Comply with all legislation applicable to the Application for Hire whether in the form of orders, regulations, statutes, statutory Instruments, codes of practice, byelaws, Directives and the like; 7.2.4 Produce a Portable Appliance Test Certificate in respect of any relevant electrical equipment s/he proposes to bring onto the Facility for the Application for Hire to the Facility Manager prior to the equipment being brought onto the Facility; 7.2.5 Be solely responsible for ensuring that where he/she hires the Facility for any training/event/sporting club, the trainer is suitably qualified, skilled and competent in his/her field. 7.2.6 Be solely responsible for the safe keeping and security of any monies collected at the Facility arising from the Application for Hire. 7.2.7 Comply with any specific booking procedures/conditions applicable to the Facility. 7.2.8 Produce all certificates and licences relevant to the Application for Hire to the Facility Manager prior to the start of the Application for Hire.
