CONDITIONS OF HIRE. Agreements with Age Connects Morgannwg for the hire of space at Cynon Linc or any part thereof (“the Premises”) are subject to these Terms and Conditions of Hire (“the Hire Conditions”). UNDERTAKING OF THE HIRER The Hirer undertakes to ensure that they understand the Hire Conditions. SUPERVISION BY THE HIRER The Hirer undertakes to be present, or arrange for sufficient adult representatives to be present, throughout the hiring to ensure compliance with the provisions and stipulations contained or referred to in these Hire Conditions and any relevant licenses. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HIRER The Hirer shall be responsible during the period of hire for: – Being familiar with, and complying with, the guides provided for the use of the Premises Ensuring that the Premises are kept secure for the duration of the hire Supervision of the use of the Premises and the care of its fabric and contents Ensuring that the purpose and conduct of the hire does not disrupt the use of any other room hired by other persons Ensuring that the Premises including public areas are left clean and tidy with rubbish removed from the rented space at the end of the hire. If we are required to undertake a deep clean of the rented space after your booking, you accept you will be held liable for the full amount incurred in doing so and will be invoiced for any work undertaken in respect of such cleaning. Ensuring that all equipment, chairs and tables have been returned to their original positions safely, the Premises are cleared of people, all lights switched off, and the rented space secured. Ensuring that any temporary fittings and fixtures comply with Health and Safety guidance, and in particular ensuring that any decorations used are not a fire hazard. Ensuring that any equipment or electrical appliances brought onto the Premises and used there shall be certified safe (XXX Tested) and in good working order and used in a safe manner. Ensuring that no animals (including birds), except assist dogs are brought into the building, without written permission of the management on the occasion of a special event or hire agreed to by the management FIRE REGULATIONS The Hirer shall: Ensure that the “Emergency Exit” signs are kept illuminated and not obscured. Ensure that the Fire Brigade is called to any outbreak of fire, however slight, and details given to the management. CONDITIONS OF HIRE. 3.1 The hire of the Equipment will commence on the Commencement Date.
CONDITIONS OF HIRE. In consideration of the hire fee described in clause 2.4, we agree to permit you to use the premises described in clause 2.2 for the purpose described in clause 2.12 for the period(s) described in clause 2.1. The details inserted in sub-clauses 2.1 to 2.9 below and the answers to the questions in sub-clauses 2.10 to 2.17 are terms of this Agreement. This Agreement includes the annexed Standard Conditions of Hire and the Special Conditions of Hire set out in the attached Schedule.
CONDITIONS OF HIRE. 2.1 The letting of the premises or use by Third Party / hire groups is under responsibility of the Parochial Church Council (PCC). Delegated authority will be given to a Churchwarden or any appointed responsible person to administrate Parish lettings. Any long term or contract hire is only with the approval of the PCC and or delegated authority. For the use of Parish buildings, a written and signed agreement has to be made, with reference to this agreement. Sub-hire or use of the premises for any purpose other than described in the agreement is prohibited. All liability for loss or damage of any equipment or other property brought onto or left at the premises is excluded, because the PCC does not accept responsibility for such. CONDITIONS OF HIRE. Applications for events will only be considered if submitted within a reasonable time of the proposed event relative to the size of the event. The minimum notice period is six weeks prior to the event. If Planning Permission from the Borough Council is required, the minimum notice period increases to 2 months. The Hirer must submit full details of the proposed event for the approval of the Parish Council. Details should include arrangements for catering, refuse collection and disposal, toilets, general activity to be staged, anticipated attendance figures, Health and Safety information and any other information as the Parish Council may require.
CONDITIONS OF HIRE. Not more than the number of persons in the acceptance of the application form or stipulated in the Agreement shall be allowed in the Academy premises at any one time. (see Section 6 of Hire Agreement) Use of the Academy premises or the relevant part thereof and entry thereto is limited to the purposes and times stated on the booking form and no sub-letting is permitted. The Hirer is responsible for and shall indemnify the Owners against all damage to the academy premises or equipment occurring during or in relation to the hiring or while persons are entering or leaving the academy premises pursuant to the hire, however and by whosoever caused. The Owners shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any property arising out of the hiring nor for any loss, damage or injury which may be suffered by, or done or happened by any person using the academy premises during or in relation to the hiring arising from any cause whatsoever or any loss due to any breakdown of machinery, failure of supply of electricity or gas, leakage of water, fire, government restriction, requirement of the Local Education Authority or act of nature which may cause the premises to temporarily close for the hiring to be interrupted or cancelled. The Hirer shall indemnify the Owners against any claim which may arise out of the hiring or which may be made by any person reporting to the Academy premises during or in relation to the hiring in respect of any such loss, damage or injury, but a formal written report should be made to the Owners within 24 hours. The right to remain on the Academy premises at any time during the hiring is reserved to the Owners and the Agent and any Police Officer. The Hirer must secure the preservation of order at all times, and take all reasonable steps to prevent injury, loss or damage to any person or property, on all occasions on which the premises are being used by virtue of such permission. The Hirer must arrange for an adequate number of responsible stewards to be present throughout the period of hire to assist in the preservation of order. No bolts, nails, screws, bits, pins, spikes or other objects shall be driven into the fabric or furnishings of any part of the academy premises. The Hirer shall at the expiration of the hiring leave the Academy premises in a clean and orderly state.
