SHIFT AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS. (a) Employees shall receive a shift differential of sixty cents ($0.60) per hour effective July 9, 1991, if they work at least two (2) hours of an assigned shift which contains at least two (2) hours between 6 pm and midnight. (b) Employees shall receive a shift differential of sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour effective July 9, 1991, if they work at least two (2) hours of an assigned third shift which contains at least two (2) hours after 2:30 am. (c) Shift differential will be added to the basic hourly rate before cash overtime is computed. (d) Commencing with the first full pay period starting after July 1, 2008, a weekend differential shall be paid at the rate of forty cents ($0.40) per hour, which shall apply to regularly scheduled shifts beginning after 10 PM on Friday, excluding shifts beginning after 10 PM on Sunday night (Employees not regularly assigned to a weekend shift but who work overtime on the week end shall not receive weekend differential; weekend differential will be added to any other shift differential and to the basic hourly rate before cash overtime is computed.)

SHIFT AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS. 16.01 (a) Effective date of ratification, shift differential will be paid to Regular Full- time, Part-time and Casual Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides, and Certified Recreational Aides as follow: (i) Evening shift - fifteen hundred hours (1500) to twenty-three hundred hours (2300) hours - $1.50 (ii) Night shift - twenty-three hundred hours (2300) hours to zero seven hundred hours (0700) -$2.00
SHIFT AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS. 26.01 Shift Differential (a) A shift differential two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid to: (i) employees working a shift wherein the majority of the hours worked, excluding meal periods, of such shift falls within the period sixteen hundred (1600) hours to twenty-three hundred (2300) hours; or (ii) employees for each hour worked between sixteen hundred (1600) hours to twenty-three hundred (2300) hours provided that two (2) hours or more are worked between sixteen hundred (1600) hours and twenty-three hundred (2300) hours. (b) A night shift premium of five dollars ($5.00) per hour shall be paid to: (i) employees working a shift wherein the majority of the hours worked, excluding meal periods, falls within the period twenty-three hundred (2300) hours to zero seven hundred (0700) hours; or (ii) employees for each hour worked between twenty-three hundred (2300) hours to zero seven hundred (0700) hours provided that two (2) hours or more are worked within twenty-three hundred (2300) hours and zero seven hundred (0700) hours. (c) Eligible hours for the purposes of Article 26.01 shall include overtime hours worked by the Employee. (a) A weekend differential of three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour shall be paid to an Employee for all hours worked between 22:00 Friday and 05:30 Monday inclusive of overtime hours. (b) Eligible hours for the purposes of Article 26.02 shall include overtime hours worked by the Employee. 26.03 Where applicable, shift differential and weekend differentials shall be stacked. 26.04 Shift and weekend differentials shall not be considered part of the basic rate of pay.
SHIFT AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS. In addition to his basic rate of pay, a shift differential of one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per hour shall be paid to Employees working a shift whereby the majority of such shift falls within the period of hours to hours. An Employee shall be paid, in addition to his basic rate of pay and any shift differential to which such Employee may be entitled, a weekend differential of one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per hour for all hours worked between hours Friday and hours Monday. The weekend differential shall commence with the beginning of the evening shift on Friday and shall continue until the commencement of the day shift on Monday morning, "Evening Shift" shall mean a shift where the majority of hours are between hours and hours and "Day Shift" shall mean a shift where the majority of hours are between hours and hours.
SHIFT AND WEEKEND DIFFERENTIALS. Employees covered by this Letter of Understanding shall not be eligible for the shift and weekend differentials provided in Section 19.2 (a) and (b) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement upon changing to the three platoon schedule.

ARTICLE XIII HEALTH AND WELFARE RETIREMENT AND LIFE INSURANCE Section 1. Health and Welfare. The City and the Union agree to the following monthly insurance premium cost sharing schedule for medical, dental, and vision insurance: Full Family contribution: $85 Employee + one contribution $50 Employee only contribution $35 The City will pay the difference between the employee cost sharing premium and the monthly rate.

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) Effective July 1, 2021, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and five cents ($1.05) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. Effective July 1, 2023, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. (b) Effective July 1, 2021, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2023, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.35) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.
