REGULAR HOURS AND OVERTIME. 1. The REGULAR WORK SHIFTS shall be as follows:
REGULAR HOURS AND OVERTIME. 17.01 Eight (8) hours shall constitute a day's work within an eight and one-half (8 2) hour period with one-half (2) hour off for lunch, and forty (40) hours shall constitute a week's work. Weekly hours shall be compiled by each employee working five(5) consecutive days, preferably with Saturday and Sunday or Sunday and Monday off.
REGULAR HOURS AND OVERTIME. 17.01 Nine (9) hours shall constitute a day's work within an nine and one-half (9 1/2) hour period with one half (1/2) hour off for lunch, and thirty-six (36) hours shall constitute a week's work. Weekly hours shall be compiled by each employee working four (4) consecutive nine (9) hour days and receive three (3) consecutive days off. The employer may, with the Union's consent, implement a program of eight (8) hour work days over a five (5) consecutive day period from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. The work day shall be eight and one-half (8 1/2) hours with a one-half (1/2) hour unpaid lunch period. While the employer shall determine when and where to utilize an eight (8) hour work day or a nine (9) hour work day, it shall schedule changes for the lengths of the work days with as much notice to the employee as practical.
REGULAR HOURS AND OVERTIME. The work day shall normally consist of eight (8) consecutive hours including two fifteen (15) minute breaks and exclusive of a lunch period of not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than one hour (60 minutes). Duration of lunch period and the scheduling of breaks is to be determined by building principal or employee's immediate supervisor. The work week shall be five (5) consecutive days totaling forty (40) hours per week. Overtime rates shall apply on all work done in excess of forty (40) hours per week. The overtime rate is one and one-half (1-1/2) times the regular rate of pay for all work suffered or permitted. Overtime shall be approved by the employee's immediate supervisor before the time is worked.
REGULAR HOURS AND OVERTIME. (a) The maximum number of weekly straight-time hours for any employee shall be forty (40) hours per week, inclusive of paid breaks, after which the double time (2x) overtime rate shall apply.

  • HOURS AND OVERTIME 3:1 A workweek is defined as seven (7) consecutive calendar days, from Saturday midnight to Saturday midnight. The basic workweek shall consist of five (5) workdays of eight (8) hours each and shall begin Monday and run through Friday, except when a job other than for a public utility is to be done on Saturday, then the Company may assign another day as a non-workday and Saturdays becomes a workday in the basic workweek. An extended workweek shall begin at starting time Monday and continue until the next Monday starting time. The regular hours of work for all employees shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with an unpaid meal period of thirty (30) minutes which normally will be from 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m. provided, however, that the regular lunch period may be advance or delayed an hour or less when work must necessarily be performed during the regular lunch period. Such a change in the lunch period shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime. The regular hours of work may be changed by the Company at the request or direction of the public utility or governmental authorities, and by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union. The Company may change the start times by 30 minutes in either direction of the regular start time to meet the operational need without union approval. Such a change in the regular hours of work shall not be deemed to require the payment of overtime.
