SITE COUNCIL. The District and the Association agree to the following provisions regarding site councils: (A) Each site council will have at least as many non-supervisory, certificated employees as it has representatives of any other group that comprises the site council. (B) Each site council will have at least two certificated employees as elected by the non-supervisory certificated staff at that building. (C) Each site council will determine an effective process for the distribution of written communications, including agendas, within forty-eight (48) hours of the meetings and minutes in a timely manner. (D) Issues which are important to the staff will be reviewed at more than one staff and/or site council meeting. (E) Site council meetings shall not exceed two (2) per month unless determined by majority vote of the Site Council.
SITE COUNCIL. Classified staff shall be represented on school site councils as provided by law. The duties of site council shall be those specified by law, including the development of plans to improve the professional growth of school staff and the school’s instructional program. (See ORS 329.704) Building administrators will make every effort to have at least one classified staff representative on site council. The school’s classified employees shall select classified representation for site council in a secret ballot election from a ballot of employees who have volunteered to serve if elected. If no classified employee volunteers, classified employees will be notified, and the classified employees and administrator may nominate classified staff members for election. The term of service on site council shall be a minimum of one academic year. Should there be a mid-year vacancy before March, a mid-year election will be conducted using the process described above. Participation on site council is work time and shall be compensated at the employee’s regular rate of pay, overtime pay or compensatory time if applicable and as provided in Article 11.2, trade time, or through release from regular duty without loss of pay.
SITE COUNCIL. A. Site councils shall be established and maintained at each school in conformance with state statutes and regulations. The duties of the school site council, as prescribed in ORS 329.704, shall be reviewed at the first site council meeting of the new school year. The principal or designee shall distribute a copy of ORS 329.704 to each member at the first meeting. B. A site council, in reaching decisions on matters within its responsibilities, shall not alter, amend or modify the Agreement. C. The site school council shall be composed of members, building administrators, classified employees, and parents or guardians of children attending the school, and the council may appoint representative(s) from the community at large. Members of each site school council not appointed by the site council shall be selected by direct secret ballot election of peers. Employees may submit proposals and requests to the site council that are consistent with its statutory duties, via a building level process. D. Actions and decisions of the council will be in accordance with law, existing board policies and applicable collective bargaining agreements. The Superintendent and representatives from GBEA shall meet annually to discuss any issues pertaining to site councils. Unit members on site councils shall be given copies of the site budget and other public documents upon request. E. Site council members who must work outside of the regular workday shall be compensated at the hourly rate of thirty dollars ($30.00) per hour, up to a total of forty (40) hours paid time. Without such payment, a council member will not be scheduled to do any work outside the regular workday unless the member individually agrees to such an arrangement. F. The participation or non-participation of members in a site council shall not be considered a subject for any unfavorable evaluation of member performance. No member shall be subject to discipline or dismissal as a result of participation or non-participation on a site council. Participation shall be voluntary.

SITE COUNCIL. Individuals who are selected to serve on a site committee will be provided release time from their assigned duties, or compensated at the extended contract rate.

  • ADVISORY COUNCIL An Advisory Council consisting of the superintendent of each participating District, or his/her designee is hereby created. The purpose of such Advisory Council is to monitor the performance of this Agreement, amend this Agreement (with concurrence of all parties affected), and terminate this Agreement as provided in Section IX. Activities of the Advisory Council shall take place as needed, called by a majority of its members or by the Superintendent of the NWESD, or his/her designee. Decisions by the Advisory Council will be made by a vote of greater than fifty percent (50%) of a quorum. A quorum is defined as at least fifty percent (50%) of the representatives appointed to the Advisory Council. Participation may occur via technological participation, including email providing at least seven (7) calendar days prior written notice was provided to each District superintendent or designee.

  • Initial Decision Maker The Architect will serve as the Initial Decision Maker pursuant to Article 15 of AIA Document A201–2017, unless the parties appoint below another individual, not a party to this Agreement, to serve as the Initial Decision Maker.

  • County’s Project Manager Note: The written approval of substituted A-E Key Personnel is for departmental use only and shall not be used for auditing purposes outside OC Public Works or other County department.

  • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member. • List of Potential TAC Members • List of TAC Members • Documentation of TAC Member Commitment
