Special Evaluation. 4.8.1 All regular permanent unit members may be evaluated by their immediate supervisors at any other time when exemplary or unsatisfactory service is performed.
4.8.2 In the event of alleged unsatisfactory performance, the evaluation shall be made within 30 days of the noted unsatisfactory performance.
4.8.3 Letters of exceptional merit that are based on the observation or knowledge of the employee’s service to the District shall upon the request of the employee be placed into the employee’s personnel file maintained in the Office of Human Resources.
Special Evaluation. The rater may prepare a special evaluation at any time for the purpose of documenting unusual or outstanding performance.
Special Evaluation. Special evaluation reports may be made when such are deemed necessary by the assigned supervisor, manager or employee. Special evaluations may not be made in lieu of annual evaluations. For employees who have completed their probationary period a special evaluation may be made only when the annual evaluation for the previous year was completed in a timely manner, or by mutual agreement between the employee and the District. For probationary employees’ special evaluations may be made in accordance with this agreement (see sections 9.2.2.1 and 9.5.3.1).
Special Evaluation. Special evaluation reports may be made when such are deemed necessary by the assigned supervisor, manager or employee.
Special Evaluation. During a teacher’s non-evaluation years, the Superintendent or appropriate Level Director may require a teacher be evaluated. Notice of such shall be in writing and identify specific reasons for the action. Notice of an off-year evaluation shall be issued to the teacher prior to October 31 of each school year. The teacher may have Union representation present at all meetings.
Special Evaluation. A Special Evaluation of job performance may be made more frequently to address qualification factors in the Report of Job Performance if deemed advisable by the administrative officer. If a special evaluation is conducted, the Evaluator will complete an evaluation using the Report of Job Performance form, clearly specifying the performance factor(s) in need of improvement, the standards required for competent performance, the training or other resources available to support improvement, and a reasonable period of time to improve performance. At the conclusion of the special evaluation period(s), the Report of Job Performance form will be completed for the review period and a normal evaluation cycle will resume or the special evaluation period will be extended.
Special Evaluation. Special evaluations are conducted when a supervisor determines that a teacher requires assistance in a non-evaluation year. Managers can recommend to an evaluator that a Student Services Professional be put on special evaluation.
10-3 Timeline for conducting professional evaluation. Probationary teachers are evaluated yearly while designated as probationary and in the first year of non-probationary status. Thereafter, evaluations are to be conducted every three years. The exception to this is special evaluation, see article 10-8.
Special Evaluation. When an evaluator determines, based on evidence from multiple classroom observations that assistance is needed during a non-evaluation year, a special evaluation shall be initiated. At this time the Human Resources Department should be notified by the evaluator.
Special Evaluation. Employees may be evaluated more frequently when there is reasonable cause for such evaluation. Such evaluations shall be made on the prescribed form. They shall be delivered to the employee personally by his/her immediate supervisor, whenever practicable. A copy of such evaluation shall be placed in the employee’s personnel record. The operation of this Section shall not preclude the District from issuing a Notice of Unsatisfactory Service, nor shall the issuing of a Notice of Unsatisfactory Service require the operation of this Section.
