Temporary Duty Assignment. Teachers may request and may be granted temporary duty reassignment at the discretion of the Superintendent. Such temporary duty shall be considered equal to the regular duties of the individual, and teachers performing such assigned temporary duties shall not be considered to be on leave. Temporary duty reassignment may be granted upon request for attendance at state, regional or national academic area conferences. Special consideration shall be given for those persons who hold office in such organizations and/or have been invited to make a major presentation at said conference.
Temporary Duty Assignment. Temporary Duty Assignment shall apply to:
A. Any person who is sponsoring or participating in a school-sponsored activity;
B. Any person who is sent to an out-of-county meeting by the Superintendent, or another authorized county official, to represent Xxxx District; and
C. Any person who is loaned to another county for special assignment, such as evaluations and plant surveys.
Temporary Duty Assignment. A. Employees may be asked to voluntarily travel away from their location to assist at another site covered by this Agreement. Assignments are limited to ninety (90) days at a time.
B. The Company will determine the location, classification/status, work area, and qualifications from which employees will be selected for Company-required travel.
C. Employees will receive reimbursement for substantiated meals up to a maximum of $48.00 per day. Alcohol will not be reimbursed. Expenses must be substantiated within a reasonable period of time and in the unlikely event of an overpayment, the overpayment must be returned to the Company within a reasonable period of time.
D. Where overnight lodging is needed for employees away from their home location on Company-required travel, single room accommodations will be provided.
E. Employees will also be reimbursed for any reasonable business travel related expenses. Expenses must be substantiated within a reasonable period of time and in the unlikely event of an overpayment, the overpayment must be returned to the Company within a reasonable period of time.
Temporary Duty Assignment. Will be assigned by the Superintendent.
Temporary Duty Assignment. Temporary duty assignment is authorized for employees who are assigned by the Superintendent to be on duty at such place or places removed from their regular place of duty and mutually agreed upon by the employee. Such assignment to temporary duty will ordinarily be initiated by the Superintendent or his designee. Employees will receive their regular pay and may be allowed expenses as provided by law and regulations of the Board.
Temporary Duty Assignment. An employee placed on Temporary Duty Assignment who is converted to a 40 hour schedule shall be paid at the employee’s 56 hour factored rate when working overtime related to the 56- hour schedule. When working overtime related to the 40 hour work they shall be paid at the 40 hour factored overtime rate.

Temporary Duty Assignment. In case of injury or illness that prohibits the employee from performing his or her regularly assigned duties, the Sheriff may attempt to provide a temporary duty assignment per shift if the employee is released by the employee's HCP for such duty. The Sheriff is not obligated to assign Temporary Duty Assignment. This will occur when available. If the Temporary Duty Assignment made by the Sheriff is in the employee's regular bargaining unit and the employee is released by the employee's HCP to perform such assignments, the employee must accept the assignment. The employer may offer an employee work in other bargaining units, but the employee may refuse such offer without recrimination. An employee performing a Temporary Duty Assignment will be paid at the employee's regular rate of pay rather than the rate of pay of the temporary duty position.
Temporary Duty Assignment. When an employee is TDY outside of the continental United States and a Company recognized holiday occurs, the following table defines how the employee will be allowed to observe the holiday: For each of the cases shown in Table 7.04, it is intended that all applicable Articles of the Agreement will be used in computing the employee’s pay. An employee returning from an assignment outside the continental U.S. during which he/she worked on a Company-recognized up-range holiday will be allowed to observe the holiday on another day within ninety (90) calendar days following his/her return home. The day to be observed will be scheduled upon his/her return from temporary duty, and will be mutually agreed upon between the company and the employee, giving consideration to the operating needs of the company and the wishes of the employee.
Temporary Duty Assignment. An employee may be temporarily assigned to work at any location pro vided that s uc h assignment does not exceed forty-five (45) calendar days. When it becomes necessary to change an individual or group of individuals reporting location, written not if ication will be made at least f ive (5) working days in advance to the employee af f ected; however, notif ication may be waived to expedite required employee training when the Company is notif ied of space available at training centers. The parties may mutually agree to extend the forty-five (45) day period for Temporary Dut y assignments where such extension does not violate the provisions of Article IV, Section 3 pertaining to Acquisition of Seniority in other occupational classifications. After completing a period of forty-five (45) calendar days temporary assignment at ano ther location, the employee will be returned to his regular assigned work location and will not be selected for temporary assignment, without his consent, for a period of ten (10) wo rk ing days unless such transfer is necessitated by emergency conditions, as determined by the next higher level of supervision. All Temporary Duty assignments will be made on the basis of operational requirement s of the Company. Preference will be given within the work group by classification on the basis of seniority to employees in the affected classification who volunteer for Temporary Duty assignment. In the event of an insufficient number of volunteers, the least senior affected employee(s) will be assigned from the selected work group.
