TIME POOL. 12.01 Each employee may contribute up to one (1) shift (24 hours for fire prevention personnel) of personal leave to the Union Time Pool. The Union may use this time at its discretion upon prior approval of the Chief or his designee. The Union president will notify the Chief or his designee at least twenty four (24) hours in advance in writing of the date time will be taken. In emergencies, notification time may be waived with the approval of the Chief. However, in all cases the Chief or his designee may withhold approval if adequate personnel are not available to maintain services. 12.02 Contributions to the Union time pool may be made each quarter based on the City's fiscal year, (i.e. October 1, January 1, April 1, and July 1).

TIME POOL. The PBA shall provide the Chief of Police and keep a current list of all PBA representatives. No more than two (2) Bargaining Unit members in any one (1) instance may be granted time off by the Chief of Police or his/her designee to attend PBA business without loss of straight time pay or benefits by using time pool, provided: A) A written request for PBA TIME POOL is submitted to the employee's supervisor in advance of time off. It is further provided that at least one (1) week notice must be given in order to use pool time to attend annual meetings. The Voluntary Annual Time Pool Donation/Time Pool Usage Forms (Exhibits A & B) will serve as the request and approval form. B) The Chief of Police shall have the right to restrict the number of persons off for PBA TIME POOL time to a single individual when an emergency condition exists or manpower on shift is such that time off work would create a clear and present danger to public safety. The provision authorizes the Chief of Police not only to refuse PBA TIME POOL time, but to revoke previously authorized time off for PBA business, except for a single individual, when an emergency condition exists and/or such time off from regular assignments would create a clear and present danger to public safety. C) PBA TIME POOL time does not count as hours worked for purposes of overtime. It shall be the PBA's responsibility to supply to the City a PBA TIME POOL Authorization form which included the name of the employee and the hours of Comp/Vacation time donated by the PBA TIME POOL. The form must be signed by the Bargaining Unit member donating the time. Time donations may be made each April 1st and October 1st and shall be in increments of not less than two (2) hours, nor more than forty-eight (48) hours. At least two (2) hours of Time Pool donations by dues paying Bargaining Unit members are voluntarily requested for start up. Additional Time Pool donations shall be considered voluntary donations. Time Pool hours may be drawn upon at the discretion of the PBA in increments of at least one (1) hour. Employees covered by this Agreement who are in their initial probationary period shall not be eligible to contribute to this PBA TIME POOL. TIME POOLThe Town agrees that the unit employees may establish a “time pool” to be administered by and for the members of the bargaining unit and this “time pool” shall be administered within the following guidelines: 1. Membership in the Time Pool is voluntary on an individual basis and is available to all bargaining unit members. (a) Three (3) members of the bargaining unit will comprise the Time Pool committee.
TIME POOLSection 1. The Union may designate one (1) or more bargaining unit employees to attend to Union business and/or to attend Union-related activities including but not limited to attendance at conventions, seminars, conferences, symposia, and meetings. Section 2. A designee of the Union desiring to attend to Union business and/or attend Union-related activities shall submit a notice at least five (5) working days prior to the date of such meeting and/or event to the employee's Department Director or designee. With the approval of the Department Director or designee, the five-day notice may be waived. Section 3. No more than 500 Time Pool hours are available, during a fiscal year, to bargaining unit members to attend to Union business and/or to attend Union-related activities. Attendance shall be deemed time worked, but will not be counted for the purpose of calculating overtime pay. The Union agrees to reimburse the City for all Time Pool hours used pursuant to the terms of this Article. Section 4. A Union member shall be released from duty in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement only when the needs of the City, as determined by the employee's Department Director or designee, have been met, but such release shall not be unreasonably denied. If the needs of the City do not permit the release of the employee as requested, release of an alternative employee during the desired time may be requested. Section 5. No individual bargaining unit member shall be permitted to use more than two hundred Section 6. Upon return from work of a bargaining unit employee on approved union business leave, the department will notify the Human Resources Department of the total hours the employee was absent on Union business. The City will periodically submit statements to the Union detailing amounts to be reimbursed. The Union will pay such reimbursement amounts to the City within twenty (20) business days from the date of each statement. If the Union fails to provide timely reimbursement, the City may discontinue the practice of allowing bargaining unit employees to take time off for Union business.

  • Measurement and Billing 5.6.1 For billing purposes, each Party shall pass Calling Party Number (“CPN”) information on each call carried over the Traffic Exchange Trunks at such time as the originating switch is equipped for SS7 and from all switches no later than December 31, 1998. At such time as either Party has the ability, as the Party receiving the traffic, to use such CPN information to classify on an automated basis traffic delivered by the other Party as either Local Traffic or Toll Traffic, such receiving Party shall bill the originating Party the Local Traffic termination rates, Intrastate Exchange Access rates, or Interstate Exchange Access rates applicable to each minute of Traffic for which CPN is passed, as provided in Exhibit A and applicable Tariffs. 5.6.2 If, under the circumstances set forth in subsection 5.6.1, the originating Party does not pass CPN on up to ten percent (10%) of calls, the receiving Party shall bill the originating Party the Local Traffic termination rates, Intrastate Exchange Access rates, Intrastate/Interstate Transit Traffic rates, or Interstate Exchange Access rates applicable to each minute of traffic, as provided in Exhibit A and applicable Tariffs, for which CPN is passed. For the remaining up to ten percent (10%) of calls without CPN information, the receiving Party shall bill the originating Party for such traffic as Local Traffic termination rates, Intrastate Exchange Access rates, Intrastate/Interstate Transit Traffic rates, or Interstate Exchange Access rates applicable to each minute of traffic, as provided in Exhibit A and applicable Tariffs, in direct proportion to the minutes of use of calls passed with CPN information. 5.6.3 If the originating Party does not pass CPN on more than ten percent (10%) of calls, or if the receiving Party lacks the ability to use CPN information to classify on an automated basis traffic delivered by the other Party as either Local Traffic or Toll Traffic, and the originating Party chooses to combine Local and Toll Traffic on the same trunk group, it will supply an auditable Percent Local Use (“PLU”) report quarterly, based on the previous three months’ traffic, and applicable to the following three months. If the originating Party also chooses to combine Interstate and Intrastate Toll Traffic on the same trunk group, it will supply an auditable Percent Interstate Use (“PIU”) report quarterly, based on the previous three months’ terminating traffic, and applicable to the following three months. In lieu of the foregoing PLU and/or PIU reports, the Parties may agree to provide and accept reasonable surrogate measures for an agreed-upon interim period. 5.6.4 Measurement of billing minutes for purposes of determining terminating compensation shall be in conversation seconds.

  • Traffic Measurement and Billing over Interconnection Trunks 6.1 For billing purposes, each Party shall pass Calling Party Number (CPN) information on at least ninety-five percent (95%) of calls carried over the Interconnection Trunks. 6.1.1 As used in this Section 6, “Traffic Rate” means the applicable Reciprocal Compensation Traffic rate, Measured Internet Traffic rate, intrastate Switched Exchange Access Service rate, interstate Switched Exchange Access Service rate, or intrastate/interstate Tandem Transit Traffic rate, as provided in the Pricing Attachment, an applicable Tariff, or, for Measured Internet Traffic, the FCC Internet Order. 6.1.2 If the originating Party passes CPN on ninety-five percent (95%) or more of its calls, the receiving Party shall xxxx the originating Party the Traffic Rate applicable to each relevant minute of traffic for which CPN is passed. For any remaining (up to 5%) calls without CPN information, the receiving Party shall xxxx the originating Party for such traffic at the Traffic Rate applicable to each relevant minute of traffic, in direct proportion to the minutes of use of calls passed with CPN information. 6.1.3 If the originating Party passes CPN on less than ninety-five percent (95%) of its calls and the originating Party chooses to combine Reciprocal Compensation Traffic and Toll Traffic on the same trunk group, the receiving Party shall xxxx the higher of its interstate Switched Exchange Access Service rates or its intrastate Switched Exchange Access Services rates for all traffic that is passed without CPN, unless the Parties agree that other rates should apply to such traffic. 6.2 At such time as a receiving Party has the capability, on an automated basis, to use such CPN to classify traffic delivered over Interconnection Trunks by the other Party by Traffic Rate type (e.g., Reciprocal Compensation Traffic/Measured Internet Traffic, intrastate Switched Exchange Access Service, interstate Switched Exchange Access Service, or intrastate/interstate Tandem Transit Traffic), such receiving Party shall xxxx the originating Party the Traffic Rate applicable to each relevant minute of traffic for which CPN is passed. If the receiving Party lacks the capability, on an automated basis, to use CPN information on an automated basis to classify traffic delivered by the other Party by Traffic Rate type, the originating Party will supply Traffic Factor 1 and Traffic Factor
