Traineeship. (1) The traineeship is two years, corresponding to the placement period in the commercial and clerical training programmes.
(2) If a trainee - is absent for more than 10% of the stipulated training period owing to illness, - is on maternity leave (before or after the birth) or adoption leave under the legislation governing such, or - has reduced working hours or days off work owing to special circumstances an agreement can be entered into between the trainee and the company to extend the traineeship by a specified period. If, according to the agreement, the traineeship is to be extended by more than the period of absence, the agreement must be approved by the Trade Committee for Vocational Education and Training in the Clerical Trade. If agreement cannot be reached between the trainee and the company to extend the traineeship, the Trade Committee for Vocational Education and Training in the Clerical Trade can extend the traineeship at the request of the company or trainee by a period determined by the committee.
Traineeship. (1) The traineeship is two years for trainees who have passed one of the following examinations: - The 2-year second period of schooling in the commercial and clerical field: - Higher Commercial Examination - Upper Secondary School-leaving Examination - Higher Preparatory Examination The traineeship is four years for trainees with a final examination from 10th grade, which in accordance with the Executive Order on Study Programmes introduces the training at the placement company.
(2) If a trainee - is absent for more than 10% of the stipulated training time owing to illness, - is on maternity leave (before or after the birth) or adoption leave under the legislation governing such, or - has reduced working hours or days off work owing to special circumstances, an agreement can be concluded between the trainee and the company to extend the traineeship by a specific period. If the training period under the agreement is to be extended by more than the period of absence, the agreement must be approved by the Specialist Committee for the Financial Services Sector. If agreement cannot be reached between the trainee and the company to extend the traineeship, the Specialist Committee for the Financial Services Sector can extend the traineeship by a period determined by the committee at the request of the company or the trainee.
(3) The first six months of the traineeship, ref. 2nd paragraph, are a reciprocal probation period. Both the company and the trainee, if the trainee has turned 18, or the legal custodian can demand that the employment relationship be terminated at 1 month’s notice ending on expiry of the probation period at the latest without stating any reason. Trainees who have entered into a training agreement with the company under the Danish Act on Vocational Education and Training are covered during their traineeship by the rules laid down in the Act. The first three months are a reciprocal probation period. Both the company and the trainee, if the trainee has turned 18, or the legal custodian can demand that the employment relationship be terminated from day to day without stating any reason. Any school time is not included in the probation period, and the probation period will be extended accordingly.

Traineeship. For the purposes of this provision, out of school shall refer only to periods out of school beyond Year 10, and shall be deemed to: include any period of schooling beyond Year 10, which was not part of nor contributed to a completed year of schooling; include any period during which a Trainee repeats in whole or part of a year of schooling beyond • not include any period during a calendar year in which a year of schooling is completed; and • have effect on an anniversary date being January 1 in each year.

Traineeship. The development of traineeships is seen to be of value by all parties bound by this agreement, and two types of traineeships would be introduced.
Traineeship. 9.1 In the life of this Agreement the parties will establish and implement a two tiered training program. The training program will include a Traineeship in Aboriginal Health. At the conclusion of the Traineeship, the trainees will be provided with a further period of on and off the job training to achieve a qualification at certificate level 4 as required for appointment as a level 2 Aboriginal Health Worker. The training program will be developed in consultation with the Implementation Committee as referred to in Clause 26 – Implementation Committee and in accordance with the following criteria:
(a) Consultation will take place with Health Workers during the development of the Traineeship. A consultative process will be undertaken within the first 12 months of this Agreement.
(b) The Traineeship will be delivered by preferred Registered Training Organisations in the vocational education and training (VET) sector within National Training and Competition Policies. The training will be flexible in delivery, culturally appropriate and meet national competencies.
(c) The delivery of the on-the-job training component of any Traineeship will have resource implications for the health service. Arrangements will be developed by the parties to ensure adequate additional support is in place to deliver the on-the- job component. Proposed arrangements will be developed by the parties within the first 12 months of this Agreement.
(d) Trainees will be paid 80% of the level 1 wage rate whilst undergoing the Traineeship and 100% of the level 1 wage rate for any further period of training prior to becoming a fully qualified Aboriginal Health Worker in accordance with Clause 22 – Wages.
Traineeship. Traineeship‖ means a Trainee employed pursuant to Schedule 3 (Trainees) of this Agreement.
Traineeship. The employee may agree to undertake a Full Time or a Part Time traineeship and the trainee rates set out in the schedule will be payable for the period of the traineeship unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where the employee is engaged for the specific purpose of undertaking a traineeship and the employer is unable to offer continuing employment at the conclusion of the traineeship the employee’s employment may be terminated without any entitlement to redundancy or other recompense.
Traineeship. 6.4.1 Traineeship conditions
a) Existing workers shall not be replaced or have their hours reduced by trainees.
b) Payments for trainees shall be based on the provisions of the Training Wage Award - State – Skill Level C. The Training Wage Award – State shall form the basis of wage calculations in respect of annual leave, overtime, sick leave and holidays and shall apply on a pro rata basis.
c) Future wage increases shall be in accordance with the Australian Fair Pay Commission
d) Those trainees who successfully complete the Approved Training Scheme shall receive the appropriate junior or adult rate of pay under the Agreement for the specific work they are performing.
e) Existing workers shall be entitled to participate in the Traineeship arrangements provided by this agreement. Where an existing employee converts to a Traineeship under this agreement, such employee shall not be disadvantaged in relation to wages and conditions when compared to their level under this agreement.
f) On completion of the Traineeship, those existing workers who participated in the Traineeship arrangement shall, as a minimum, retain their previous employment status and conditions.
g) Notwithstanding, an existing employee will advance to an employment level commensurate with their AQF qualification only when a vacancy occurs to a position assigned to that level.
