Training and Policies. 18.1 The Supplier shall procure that its Personnel undertake all training as reasonably requested by the Company from time to time in connection with the supply of Goods and/or Services. 18.2 Without prejudice to any other provision of these Standard Terms, the Supplier shall, and shall ensure that its Personnel shall, on relation to the provision of the Goods and/or Services comply at all times with the policies of the Company as notified to the Supplier or such Personnel from time to time.

Training and Policies. The District will provide training regarding the District’s responsibilities under Title IX as they pertain to interscholastic athletic activities to all District administrators and individuals who have coaching responsibilities or perform any coaching functions in the District. The training will include information regarding the requirement to provide nondiscriminatory participation opportunities to male and female athletes, the need to consider donated items and funds when ensuring male and female programs are equitably supported, the prohibition against retaliation for engaging in any activity that is protected under Title IX, and the requirement to keep records sufficient for the District to be able to demonstrate its compliance with the requirements of Title IX.
Training and Policies. The St. Xxxxxxx County Police Department will provide firearms training to SWAT Team members for tactical team purposes. Participating municipal police departments agree to operate under the St. Xxxxxxx County Police Department policies and procedures during training and operations. Each Municipality will be forwarded a copy of these policies upon request. Each SWAT Team member will still be required to follow their own police department's firearm policies and training procedures when not operating as a SWAT Team member.

Training and Policies. 26.01 On-the-job training will be conducted by TTT airline certified trained bargaining unit employees and Supervisors. The Company has the discretion to select and allocate appropriate on-the-job trainers. Trainer opportunities will be awarded based on seniority and qualifications when a vacancy becomes available. Other types of training may be conducted by appropriate Menzies Aviation trainers or contractors. 26.02 The Company will make available to all employees their Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for their reference. The SOP manual will be reviewed by the Company to ensure the contents are relevant and up to date with operational needs. 26.03 The Company agrees to provide employees and Union upon request copy(s) of its current Policies, Procedures Manual, and employee benefit(s) booklets. 26.04 All training shall be paid. The Company will endeavor to have training completed during work hours. Should an employee be required to complete any training outside of work hours they will be compensated at the appropriate rate of pay. In the event the employee has completed training outside of work hours they must advise the Supervisor and General Manager.

Related to Training and Policies

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision.   • TRAINING AND RELATED MATTERS The parties recognise that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the company a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. Accordingly the parties commit themselves to: a) The parties to this Agreement recognise the importance of the apprenticeship system to the construction industry. It is agreed that every employer party to this Agreement who employs five (5) or more tradespersons in any one classification shall undertake to employ at least one (1) apprentice or make arrangements to host an apprentice from an agreed group apprenticeship scheme. Where an employer does not currently have an apprentice as per this provision, reasonable time shall be allowed to enable the employer to comply with this clause. Further, the parties are committed to a strong ratio of apprentices in the industry. Apprenticeship levels on a specific project may be discussed at the Project Pre-Commencement Conference (refer Clause 16). b) Providing employees with the opportunity to acquire additional skills within relevant career path structures through appropriate structured training based on nationally endorsed (i.e. Construction Training Australia endorsed) competency standards and curriculum; c) Actively encouraging employees to seek formal recognition of their skills (i.e. recognition of prior learning); and d) Using training providers accredited and acceptable to the parties. The CFMEU, MBAV and other employer associations are legitimately engaged in providing training to industry and it is hereby agreed that all parties will properly recognise and accept the validity of nationally accredited training as provided by the other parties. e) The parties will consult on the development of training programs which are consistent with the following: • Training provided will be consistent with the company’s business requirements, relevant to the work of the employees, consistent with the skills development of each employee and with applicable national competency standards. • Training may be taken either on or off the job with all reasonable steps being taken to conduct training in normal working hours. • If an approved training activity is undertaken during ordinary working hours, the employee/s concerned shall not suffer any loss of pay. • Approved training activities undertaken outside of ordinary hours will be paid at single time or will, at the employee’s option, be taken as time off in lieu of payment. Provided that the scheduling of time off must be consistent with the needs of the business and be by agreement with the company. • Training costs of courses approved by the company will be met by the company. • The company will not be asked to meet the costs of training undertaken by employees which was not approved by the company. • Leave of absence granted pursuant to this clause shall count as service for all purposes of the award and this agreement. • Accredited members of the union will be allowed up to 5 days per year, without loss of pay, to attend trade union educational courses conducted or approved by the union. (see appendix H) f) The parties to this Agreement recognise the importance of the role that Apprentices/Trainees fulfill within the industry and, more importantly, a role that they will fulfill as trades persons following the conclusion of the indentures. To this end the Victorian Building Industry Consultative Committee will investigate ways of enhancing employment prospects for Apprentice/Trainees. In addition it is agreed that, where appropriate, employers will use their best endeavours to employ Apprentices/Trainees in order to ensure appropriate trade persons levels for the future.

  • Personnel Policies The School shall adopt, update, and adhere to personnel policies. These policies must be made readily accessible from the School’s website or school office, as described in Section 11.4. 1. If the policy is not available from the School’s website, the School shall submit the current policy to the Commission.

  • Sick Leave Reporting and Verification Employees must promptly notify their supervisor on their first day of sick leave and each day after, unless there is mutual agreement to do otherwise. If an employee is in a position where a relief replacement is necessary if they are absent, they will notify their supervisor at least two (2) hours prior to their scheduled time to report to work (excluding leave taken in accordance with the Domestic Violence Act). Unless otherwise precluded by law, the Employer has reason to suspect abuse, the Employer may require a written medical certificate for any sick leave absence. An employee returning to work after any sick leave absence may be required to provide written certification from their health care provider that the employee is able to return to work and perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Rules, Regulations and Policies Employee shall abide by and comply with all of the rules, regulations, and policies of Employer, including without limitation Employer's policy of strict adherence to, and compliance with, any and all requirements of the banking, securities, and antitrust laws and regulations.

  • Drug and Alcohol Policy 67.1 The Parties agree to apply the Drug and Alcohol Management Program (as amended from time to time) contained in Appendix G. 67.2 The Employer may refer an Employee affected by drugs or alcohol to the services provided by Incolink.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.
