Supplemental Days. 39 All employees will be required to work four supplemental days in 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15, and five 40 supplemental days in 2015-16 and 2016-17 for training, professional development, student learning 41 activities, and/or work related to the building’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. 42 43 If an employee is sick, he/she may use sick leave and must call in their absence to the Principal/program 44 administrator and the substitute office automated attendance system. In addition, the employee shall contact 45 the Principal/program administrator for missed content and/or assignments. Part time and job share 46 employees will be required to work and will be paid for 7.5 hours on such days regardless of their FTE. 47 Required days will be paid through the term of each employee’s contract in equal monthly payments, 48 according to each employee’s per diem, except in circumstances where an employee’s pay has been 49 stopped.

Supplemental Days. A. Extended contracts: All extended contracts shall be paid with funds other than BEA funds. All extended contracts shall be paid on supplemental contracts and the funds shall come from block grants, State Remedial, State Bilingual, or any other District funds. Such extended contracts shall include all positions listed on the Supplemental Services Schedule plus any other contracts currently paid as extended contracts. The District shall advise employees in writing not later than May 15th if the individual's supplemental or extended contract is not renewed for the coming year..
