Union Recognized. The City voluntarily recognizes Local 555 of the I.A.F.F. as the bargaining agent for the purpose of establishing the wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment, for all non- exempt, full-time, permanent employees (those employees scheduled to work more than 32 hours per week) who are in the classification of Firefighter and Fire Captain, but excluding supervisory, confidential, or exempt employees and all elected officials or officers of the City.

Employees represented are in the classification of Bus Driver, Transit Clerk, Property Compliance Officer, Transit Technician, PSB IS Tech, Transit Shop Xxxxxxx, Transit Dispatcher, Secretary I, Information Systems Technician, Account Clerk I, Junior Accountant, Handivan Driver, Communications Dispatcher/Clerk I, Communications Dispatcher/Clerk II, Public Safety Clerk, Telephone Systems Operator, Recreation Activity Specialist, Engineering Technician I, Engineering Technician II, Custodian I, Custodian II, Maintenance Worker, Heavy Equipment Operator, Mechanic, Public Service Officer, Utility Maintenance, Electrician, Crew Xxxxxxx and Water Meter Shop Xxxxxxx. Employees excluded from representation are all seasonal (those hired to work for a fixed period of time which is less than one year), part-time (those scheduled to work an average of less than 30 hours per week), uniformed police and firefighter, supervisory, confidential or exempt employees and all elected officials or officers of the City.

Excluded Employees: Administrative Assistant to Village Manager, Administrative Assistant to Mayor, Assistant Village Clerk, Administrative Assistant to Chief of Police, Administrative Assistant to Director of Public Works, Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Finance Department, Administrative Clerk (Formerly Clerk Typist II) assigned to the Village Manager’s Office, all part-time employees, supervisory, confidential, and managerial employees as defined in the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act and all other Village employees.

Pursuant to RCW 41.56.060 the Employer hereby recognizes the Washington State Council of County and City Employees/ AFSCME Council 2 and its affiliated local (hereafter Union) as the exclusive bargaining representative for all limited term, probationary and regular Renton City employees in those classifications listed in Appendix A. Limited term employees have all rights under this contract with the exception of bumping (see City Policy #330-11, dated 10/15/2005). If a limited term position is converted to a regular position, the incumbent shall remain in the position and shall be converted as well (and will be eligible for bumping rights). A limited term employee shall have their time in the limited term position count toward their overall classification and City seniority. A regular employee who applies for and is appointed to a limited term position shall have the right to return to their previous classification should the limited term position not be converted to regular status and there is a vacant position available in their previous classification. All employees of the Employer in classifications covered by this Agreement are eligible to be members of the Union.

Pursuant to and in accordance with all applicable provisions of the "Public Employment Relations Board's" certification of the Communications Workers of America, Local 7103, AFL-CIO, dated November 6, 1979, the Sioux City Public Library does hereby recognize the Union during the term of this Agreement as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for positions within the Sioux City Public Library and listed in Appendix "A" (hereinafter collectively referred to as employee(s) excluding library director, supervisory, confidential and all other employees excluded by Section 4 of said Act).
Union Recognized. The City recognizes Local 50 of the I.A.F.F. as the exclusive bargaining agent for the purpose of establishing the wages, hours and terms and conditions of employment, for all full time, permanent employees who are in the classification of Firefighter, Fire Engineer, Fire Captain, and Battalion Chief, but excluding Fire Division Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, and Fire Chief. Newly established positions within the bargaining unit will be bargained to the extent required by law.
