VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. (a) Vacation Pay and Statutory Holiday Pay for all employees covered by this Agreement shall be paid ten percent (10%) of gross wages earned. That part of the amount allocated to vacation pay shall be the minimum required by the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended from time to time, and the balance is lieu of payment for recognized Statutory Holidays.
(b) Vacation pay shall be paid to the employees on a weekly basis or twice annually to last pay cheque in the months of May and November, at the option of the Employer.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 8.01 All authorized work performed on the following holidays shall be paid for at double the regular rate:
8.02 Vacation pay shall be ten (10%) percent of total earnings. The remittance of vacation pay shall be made as required herein by Article 13.10 of this Agreement.
8.03 There shall be no discrimination against any employee who takes a maximum of two (2) weeks vacation in any one year.
8.04 It is understood that vacation pay includes six (6%) percent for statutory holidays and four (4%) percent vacation pay. However, work performed on statutory holidays will be paid at double time the regular rate of wages.
8.05 By agreement of the Employer and the Local Union, construction sites may close down during the two weeks of the Christmas (December 25) and New Year (January 1) holidays. Such shut down will not be considered to be an illegal work stoppage or lock-out.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Vacation Pay and Statutory Holiday Pay for all employees covered by this Agreement as of the date hereof shall be as follows:
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Casual employees shall receive twelve point four percent (12.4%) of their straight-time pay, excluding all premiums, on each pay cheque in lieu of vacations and statutory holidays.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Vacation pay and statutory holidays shall be 11% of Gross Wages.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. Occasional employees shall be paid vacation pay and statutory holiday pay in accordance with the Employment Standards Act.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 13.01 Vacation Pay and Statutory Holiday Pay for all employees covered by this Agreement as of the date hereof shall be as follows:
(a) The following days will constitute the recognized holidays within the terms of this Agreement.
(b) During the term of any one year, three (3) weeks vacation without pay may be taken by an employee exclusive of Statutory Holidays. The Employee shall give the Employer one (1) month notice of this intended vacation.
13.03 Payment of Vacation and Statutory Holiday Pay shall be made quarterly on or before the first day of January, April, July and October in each year and in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act and Regulations governing the Construction Industry. The Employer shall
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 22.01 Employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one half (1 1/2) times for all hours actually worked on the following holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Civic Holiday Family Day It is agreed that Heritage Day will be recognized as a holiday hereunder, when it is proclaimed such by the Canadian Government.
22.02 Should any of the above holidays occur on a Saturday or Sunday, such holiday shall be observed on the Monday and/ or Tuesday following, unless changed by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. No work shall be performed on Labour Day except to save life, limb or property.
22.03 Vacation and Statutory Holiday credits shall be paid to employees covered by this Agreement at the rate of ten (10%) of the gross wages earned. It is understood and agreed that six percent (6%) of the gross wages is to be considered in lieu of Statutory Holiday Pay and four percent (4%)
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 13.01 Vacation Pay and Statutory Holiday Pay for all employees covered by this Agreement as of the date hereof shall be as follows:
(a) The following days will constitute the recognized holidays within the terms of this Agreement.
(b) During the term of any one year, three weeks vacation without pay may be taken by an employee exclusive of Statutory Holidays. The Employee shall give the Employer one month notice of this intended vacation.
VACATION PAY AND STATUTORY HOLIDAYS. 13.1 Employees shall be paid vacation pay at the rate of four per cent (4%) of the amount of the employee's total wages and shall be paid statutory holiday pay at the rate of six per cent (6%) of total wages, for a total of ten per cent (10%).
13.2 Payment of such vacation pay and statutory holiday pay shall be made to Carpenters Local 27 Vacation Pay Trust Fund, in trust for the employee. The Union shall indemnify and save harmless the Employer against any and all suits, actions, causes of action, claims and demands or any other form of liability arising as a result of any action taken by the Employer for the purpose of complying with this Article.
13.3 The aforesaid vacation pay and statutory holiday pay is agreed and shall be deemed to be in accordance with the Employment Standards Act and is agreed to provide benefits equal to or better than required by the Employment Standards Act.
13.4 Time off for vacations shall be arranged by mutual agreement between the Employer and employee with a minimum of three weeks to be taken by each employee during a period of anyone year. Where a holiday occurs during a vacation period, one (1) additional day will be granted.
