Wage Rates and Classification Structure. The minimum wage rates for Health Care Support Workers and Administrative Employees includes a component for laundry allowance. Health Care Support Workers will be classified in accordance with the classification structure are prescribed in Schedule 1. Administrative Employees will be classified in accordance with Schedule 2.

15.2. Wage Increases Wages will be increased by a total of 14% delivered as follows: • From 1st Pay Period commencing on or after 1 March 2008 – 4.5% • From 1st Pay Period commencing on or after 1 March 2009 – 4.5% • From 1st Pay Period commencing on or after 1 March 2010 – 5%
15.3. Wage Schedules
15.3.1 Actual rates of pay are set out in Appendix B. These rates of pay are inclusive of the following Award prescribed entitlements: • Base Rates of Pay • Supplementary Payment • Safety Net Adjustment • Special Allowance • Industry Allowance
15.3.2 Any variation or increase to the aforesaid award entitlements shall not flow on to the adult rates prescribed herein.
15.3.3 All allowances shall be increased by the above % amounts on the same day as the wage increase
15.3.4 Site allowances shall be paid in accordance with Appendix C hereof.

25.2 The base wage rate is inclusive of all allowances, except for the afternoon and night shift loadings, and the first aid allowance.

Wage Rates and Classification Structure. Employees engaged within SVCS Auburn, SVCS Bronte and SVCS Edgecliff at the time this Agreement takes effect, on a higher rate of pay than rates contained in Schedule B for the same classification as outlined in Schedule A, will not suffer any reduction in their rate of pay as a result. The date of effect for the increases described below will be applied to SVCS Auburn, SVCS Bronte and SVCS Edgecliff. Note: any Facility transitioned into St Vincent’s Care Services in the period between the date of effect for the first increase provided for under this Agreement and until this Agreements’ expiry, will only receive the benefit of the rates under this Agreement as from the first pay period on or after the date on which the transition takes effect. The following wage increases shall apply to all Employees covered by this Agreement. Wage increases will be payable from the first full pay fortnight that commences after the date of effect of the increase.

18.2. Employees will be classified on commencement and then going forward on assessment of competency in accordance with the classification structure specified in this clause. Management will determine the number of employees required in each classification. Appointment to level 3 will be at management discretion. Level 3 Production Worker/Stores Person—Level III A Production Worker/Stores Person Level III is an employee so appointed who performs work above and beyond the skills of an employee at the Level II and to the level of their skills, competence and training: - assists in the provision of on-the-job training; - co-ordinates work in a team environment or works individually under general supervision; - is responsible for assuring the quality of their own work. Level 2 Production Worker/Stores Person—Level II A Production Worker/Stores Person Level II is an employee who performs work above and beyond the skills of an employee at the Level I and to the level of their skills, competence and training: - works from complex instructions and procedures; - is responsible for the quality of their own work subject to routine supervision; - works under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment; - exercises discretion within their level of skills and training; - assists in the provision of on-the-job training; - possess a LF licence; - actively involved in the integrity of stock control; - Competent Enterprise Management System and role relevant software skills. Wage Rates and Classification Structure. 25.1 Employees working under this Agreement shall be classified and paid according to the classification structure set out in Schedule 1 – Classifications and Rates of Pay.
25.2 Overseas employees will be appointed to the Project by the Company pursuant to arrangements agreed between the Company and each employee concerned. No overseas employee will be employed on terms which are overall less favourable than this Agreement. However, the Company agrees to pay the difference to an overseas employee who can demonstrate to the Company that he or she is financially disadvantaged under an arrangement when compared to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
25.3 An employee shall be paid weekly by electronic funds transfer or cheque at the discretion of the Company.
