Additional Duty Pay. Subject to Board of Trustees’ approval of individual department chair appointments, three (3) hours of additional reassigned time will be granted to the following department chairs in recognition of the additional duties and obligations unique to these departments providing that the department has a minimum of 1500 student contact hours taught by the department.

Additional Duty Pay. Only additional work assigned by management (above and beyond routine assigned duties) will be eligible for additional duty pay. Additional Duty pay will be paid at the rate and for the eligible classifications reflected in Exhibit B.
Additional Duty Pay. A. Qualified employees as determined and assigned by the employer may be given the following permanent additional duties:
1. Lead Operator/Equipment. This person, in addition to regular duties will oversee maintenance and repair of all equipment. If the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent are absent, this person will be in charge of the facility.
B. Additional duty pay will be $.85 per hour supplement for performing any of the above mentioned duties.
Additional Duty Pay. Afforded to an employee who takes on a significant number of extra assignments in an area different than their regularly assigned responsibilities. An employee performing this type of work for a period of time greater than two (2) weeks may be afforded a percentage increase in salary to compensate for performing dual functions at the discretion of the Department Director.
Additional Duty Pay. Additional Duty Pay may be provided to employees who are formally assigned the duties of a higher-level class for an extended period, anticipated to be in excess of at least two (2) weeks. Such assignment will be confirmed by the processing of a Personnel Action Form by the employee’s Department Director. Additional Duty Pay will be granted as a percentage increase to the employees existing base salary only and will not be less than the amount equal to the entry level salary of the higher level class for which the employee is performing duties, nor exceed the maximum salary at the top of the range of said class.
Additional Duty Pay. Additional Duty Pay will be paid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Employees base wage when Employees are temporarily assigned duties in the absence of a Supervisor or when they are assigned by their Supervisor to temporarily fill in a position of a higher classification (generally assignment must be for an entire day unless assignment dictates shorter duration). Assistant Supervisors will only receive the Additional Duty Pay when the Division Manager is absent for more than forty (40) consecutive hours. Only one (1) person at a time will receive Additional Duty Pay. Additional Duty Pay will only be paid in Streets when the Assistant Supervisor and the Lead are both absent, unless approved by Division Supervisor.
Additional Duty Pay. 1. Drivers asked to voluntarily attend in-service training when they are not normally scheduled to work will be paid $6.60/hour for 2005-06, $6.73/hour for 2006-07, and $6.86/hour for 2007-08.
2. The District may schedule up to four (4) mandatory in-services per year to be held between morning and evening runs. Drivers must receive 10 working days notice of such meetings. Drivers may be excused from mandatory in-services for good reason or if less than 10 working days notice is given. Drivers attending mandatory in-services will be paid at the rate of $10.56/hour for 2005-06, $10.77/hour for 2006-07, and $10.97 per hour for 2007-08.
3. Beginning with the 2001-02 school year, Capac bus drivers that participate in the after-school tutorial program will be paid for sick days the same as other regular runs. Drivers shall have the option of accepting a special trip in lieu of the take-home tutorial program trip and not be paid for the tutorial program.
Additional Duty Pay. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who, during summer recess, agrees to teach or to perform a service directly related to his/her area of professional certification or to develop a course of study not stipulated as part of his/her regular assignment shall be paid at the rate of $31.50 per hour for the duration of the Agreement. Compensation for pre-approved hours, used for Act 48 Professional Growth, outside the normal work day shall be $31.50 per hour for the duration of the Agreement. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who is a support teacher under the District's Induction Program shall receive $725.00 per year. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who is the Title I Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating the District’s Title I program, including handling all communications, reporting and grant administration surrounding the Title I program. The annual stipend for this position shall begin at $3,800 per school year. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who is the Lead Elementary Reading Specialist shall serve as the Elementary Level coordinator for the Reading Specialist Team and be responsible for coordinating student testing, instructional activities and other projects for the Team. The annual stipend for this position shall begin at $2,700 per school year. The compensation for any member of the Bargaining Unit who serves as a Professional Leadership Liaison is defined in Appendix “F”. The above annual stipends shall be pro-rated in any year to reflect the actual number of work days on which duties are performed by employees in these extra-duty assignments. The School District, in its sole discretion, shall decide whether the extra-duty assignments will continue from one school year to the next. The District shall notify the Association and the individuals serving in these positions by June 30th whether these extra-duty assignments will continue in the following school year. If the District elects to continue these extra-duty assignments for the succeeding school year and the same employee continues in the same extra-duty position for the succeeding school year, his/her annual stipend shall be increased by the same percentage contemplated by the co-curricular schedule as outlined in Appendix “E” of this Agreement. The District shall have the right to remove an employee from these extra-duty assignments for failure to perform their extra-duty assignment in a satisfactory and/or timely manner.
Additional Duty Pay. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who, during summer recess, agrees to teach or to perform a service directly related to his/her area of professional certification or to develop a course of study not stipulated as part of his/her regular assignment shall be paid at a rate of $25.00 per hour in 2004-2005, $26.00 per hour in 2005-2006, $27.00 per hour in 2006-2007, $28.00 per hour in 2007-2008, and $29.00 per hour in 2008-2009. Compensation for preapproved hours, used for Act 48 Staff Development, outside the normal work day shall be $25.00 per hour in 2004- 2005, $26.00 per hour in 2005-2006, $27.00 per hour in 2006-2007, $28.00 per hour in 2007-2008, and $29.00 per hour in 2008-2009. Any member of the Bargaining Unit who is a support teacher under the District's Induction Program shall receive $500.00 per year. Any member of the Bargaining Unit with previous experience as a support teacher in this District shall receive $600 per year.
Additional Duty Pay. When an employee works in a higher classification for at least eight hours (8) in a work day, he shall be compensated at the commensurate step at the rate of pay for that classification for all hours worked.
