Admissions Process. MATC shall administer the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment test prior to pupil enrollment.
a. Pupils scoring below a 7.9 grade level may be accepted for admittance into MATC AHS Readiness classes and also earn high school credits toward graduation; or
b. Pupils scoring above a 7.9 grade level will be accepted into the classes earning Carnegie units toward graduation; or
c. Pupils scoring above a 9.0 grade level, severely credit deficient, and are under seventeen years old will be accepted into the HSED Program.
Admissions Process. Point Blank offers higher education courses at our London school as well as through the distance learning facility accessed via our website (“Online school”). Applicants wishing to apply to and enrol onto a higher education course at the online or London school should refer to Point Blank’s Admissions Policy – Higher Education. These Terms and Conditions relate to higher education courses at these two schools. Students wishing to study at our London school must be of 18 years of age or older however in exceptional circumstances we may be able to accept younger students subject to parent or guardian permission.
Admissions Process. The admission to the undergraduate credit transfer program is purely on merit and is the same as in other engineering undergraduate programmes. The eligibility conditions are same as for regular undergraduate engineering programs offered by Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. Admissions Process. Point Blank offers higher education courses at our London school as well as through the distance learning facility accessed via our website (“Online school”). Practical (non-accredited) courses are offered at both our London and Online schools. These Terms and Conditions relate to practical courses at these two schools. There are no entry requirements for applicants to study a practical (non-accredited) course through the Online or London school. Applicants are welcome to contact our Course Advisors for advice and information before enrolling onto a course. Applicants wishing to apply to and enrol onto a higher education course at the Online or London school should refer to Point Blank’s Higher Education Terms and Conditions and Higher Education Admissions Policy. Students wishing to study at our London school must be of 18 years of age or older with the exception of the Summer School and weekend courses.
Admissions Process. Students apply to SFC through its Office of Admission at which time they must express their interest in one of the combined degree programs. Applicants must meet all admissions criteria of SFC. SGU application fees will be waived for applicants. SFC applicants will be given fast track status and will be prioritized for review, interviews, processing, and decisions. SGU will provide a dedicated point of contact to service SFC and its students during the application process. Upon receipt of applications, SFC and SGU will consult to select suitable candidates, who meet the standards of SFC and SGU, and formal interviews will be conducted by SGU. A provisional acceptance into SGU can only be made after an undergraduate interview is conducted. In order to be eligible to proceed to the SGU School of Medicine in this program, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) competitive with the incoming class average of 3.4 while enrolled at SFC and obtain a competitive score on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). A competitive score is generally defined as a score within 5 points of the prior terms average MCAT score for matriculated students. In order to be eligible for entry into the SGU School of Veterinary Medicine, students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.2 while enrolled at SFC and obtain a competitive Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score (a competitive score is above 290). Admission to the MD and DVM programs requires a minimum score of 7.0 on the IELTS (cumulative and part scores) or equivalent test. Applicants must demonstrate this minimum level of proficiency in English with a valid IELTS test result taken within the past two years. Students who have attended a North American university, or a university where English is the language of instruction, are typically waived from submitting TOEFL/IELTS exam scores. In addition to the above-referenced minimum GPA, MCAT and GRE requirements, an offer of admission to SGU’s School of Medicine or SGU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, pursuant to this program, will only be made to qualified students who satisfy all respective admissions requirements. Admissions Process a. The process for admission to the B.S. in Computing and Information Technologies can begin as early as the student's final term in the A.S. in Applied Computer Technology.
b. The steps in the process will be:
i. Student indicates to the NTID A.S. in Applied Computer Technology program coordinator an interest in applying to enter the B.S. in Computing and Information Technologies or the B.S. in Human- Centered Computing depending on the A.S. track pursued.
ii. The A.S. program coordinator will review the student’s academic qualifications based on items listed in the “Student Qualifications for Transfer from the A.S. in Applied Computer Technology to the B.S. in Computing and Information Technologies or the B.S. in Human- Centered Computing” listed above.
iii. If the student meets the qualifications listed, the A.S. program coordinator will contact the director of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences School of Information for review of the student's qualifications.
1. If necessary, the director will call a meeting with the student and the A.S. program coordinator to review the student's record and to discuss the B.S. program in which the student is interested in entering.
iv. Upon review of the student's qualifications, the director of the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences School of Information will inform the student and the A.S. program coordinator of the tentative acceptance decision.
v. The A.S. program coordinator and the School director will complete an Intent to Enroll form and submit it to the NTID and RIT admissions offices for review and final approval.
1. If the Intent to Enroll form receives all required approvals, the NTID department chair will inform the student, the A.S. program coordinator, and the School director of the decision.
Admissions Process. 1. Rowan will waive student admissions application fees for CCP students applying to Rowan through this program.
