Callout Overtime a) Callout is defined as being called back to work following completion of an employee’s regular shift except when prescheduled notice is provided. If notice is provided, all hours worked should be in accordance with Article 18.02 -- Overtime Pay.

Callout Overtime. 18.2 A minimum of three (3) hours pay at two (2) times their basic hourly rate shall be allowed to any employee who is called out for immediate reporting to the job. Any subsequent related or unrelated troubles that occur during this three-hour period will be repaired and considered part of the first callout. However, if the employee has returned to their residence before being notified of the subsequent problem, this will be considered a second callout, except when directly related to the repairs affected during the first callout. This clause does not apply to any employee who is held to work overtime at the end of their regular shift.
Callout Overtime. A minimum of two (2) hours pay at the applicable overtime rate shall be allowed to any employee who is called out for immediate reporting to the job and shall include travelling time to and from home. Any subsequent call in this two (2) hour period will be considered part of the first call-out. This Clause does not apply to any employee who is held over to work overtime at the end of their regular tour, nor does it apply to any employee who is called and works continuously into the beginning of their regular tour. In the latter case, overtime at the applicable rate will be paid from the time of callout to the beginning of the tour.
Callout Overtime. Every employee who is called out and required to work outside his regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at double his regular hourly rate of pay. If the call out is immediately preceding the commencement of the regular working day, the employee shall be paid double time (2T) only for the time worked prior to the commencement of his regular work day. Call out shall not be considered as a shift. All call out starts fifteen (15) minutes prior to the employee arriving at work. Minimum time actually worked during call out then becomes one and three-quarters (1¾ ) hours. Call out overtime prevails when an employee reports for and works overtime during a period of time not immediately following completion of his regular working hours.

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Such overtime shall be assigned to employees who are actively on the payroll and who have indicated their willingness to accept overtime assignments according to section procedures and who are:

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Payment of Overtime 5.5.1 Subject to the provisions of this sub-clause, all work performed outside of the ordinary hours of any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, will be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first 2 hours and double time thereafter. Casual Employees will be entitled to the appropriate all- purpose penalty rates and their 25% casual loading as identified in clause 2.1.2.

  • Mandatory Overtime Mandatory overtime shall be scheduled 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled event (or as soon as possible after the overtime is known to management.) If there are unforeseen circumstances, the two week requirement will not apply. Where the notice of mandatory overtime is not provided in that time frame, the hours worked will be paid at twice the regular rate. If a member has checked with the Director of Public Safety or designee about a certain date as being a mandatory day, and received a negative answer, that employee shall be waived from any mandatory obligation of the day inquired about. If a staff member has extenuating circumstances occurring on a mandatory overtime day, they may request a release from the mandatory overtime day from the Director of Public Safety, or designee. The employee shall meet with the Director of Public Safety, or designee, to discuss the extenuating circumstance. The Director of Public Safety, or designee, shall respond to the staff member’s request as soon as possible.

  • Weekly Overtime When an employee has worked forty (40) hours in a single workweek (exclusive of daily overtime), all time worked in excess of forty (40) hours at the request of the Company will be compensated at one and one half times (1.5X) his regular hourly rate.

  • Overtime Scheduling (A) It is the intent of the City, consistent with efficient and effective operation of the Division of Police, to distribute in an equitable manner, all pre-scheduled overtime among all members. Recognition will be given to the qualifications of the members and the requirements placed on the City by any third party funding sources. Any complaints by members that pre-scheduled overtime is not being equitably distributed among all qualified members as described above may be brought by the Lodge directly to the Chief's attention at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure and shall also be a proper subject for discussion in a Labor Relations Committee meeting. Inability to work a prescheduled overtime assignment due to illness or death in the family or injury will not require the member to charge such absence against sick leave or injury leave.

  • Scheduling of Overtime In any case where no employee is available to work a shift or the extension of a shift at straight time, and the Employer thereupon determines that it is necessary to assign the work on an overtime basis, the following provisions will govern the assignment of the overtime.
