Condensation. In the event of cold outside air temperatures and/or high humidity inside the unit, condensation and/or frost and ice may form on the aluminum frame and/or glass. Purchaser acknowledges the responsibility to maintain unit humidity within levels specified by the warranty materials provided to Purchaser, and that Seller is not responsible for any damage to the Unit or to personal items in the Unit, including, but not limited to, hardwood flooring or other flooring material or gypsum drywall, which may occur due to condensation resulting from high humidity levels.
Condensation. The Tenant undertakes to take all reasonable steps to adequately heat and ventilate the Let Property in order to help prevent condensation, and to keep window vents open at all times.
Condensation. Condensation is not a product defect, but the result of excess humidity. Condensation, frost, mold, mildew, or fungus on product surfaces is not covered by this Limited Warranty.
Condensation. The Tenant should ensure that the Property is sufficiently ventilated to avoid condensation and mould growth. It should be noted that drying clothes inside the property should be avoided as this is likely to increase condensation.
Condensation. Condensation is the natural result of excessive moisture in the house and changes in interior or exterior temperatures. It does not indicate a defective or faulty product or installation. It is even possibly for frost to appear on a window or door as a result of excessive condensation in cold weather. This warranty does not cover condensation, frost or freezing from condensation. No window or door can prevent condensation if the humidity level in the home is too high.
Condensation. Condensation is not a product defect, but the result of excess humidity. Condensation, frost, or mold, mildew, or fungus on product surfaces is not covered by the Limited Warranty. Degradation or failure of the Ultrex® finish, hardware, or other components due to conditions such as air pollutants, acid rain, salt, sand, chemicals, or other corrosive or abrasive substances is not covered by the Limited Warranty. Condensation. Our double glazed units are designed to reduce heat loss which occurs through single glazing. We give no guarantee concerning the incidence, prevention or elimination of condensation. Examples are:-
a. Internal condensation caused by excess moisture in the domestic environment b. External condensation: Thermally efficient windows are so good at keeping the heat in that the outer pane can get cold as it is no longer being warmed by wasted heat. Under some weather conditions and at certain times of the year, this can result in the formation of condensation on the outside surface of the glass. This is a positive indication of a thermally efficient window. For further information on condensation please refer to the condensation leaflet issued by the Glass and Glazing Federation, which can be downloaded from their website xxx.xxx.xxx.xx.
12.3 Glass:
Condensation. The company’s double glazing units are designed primarily to reduce heat loss which ordinarily occurs through single glazing. The presence of condensation is dependant upon the environment within the dwelling. The company gives no warranty concerning the incidences, prevention or elimination of condensation following the installation of its products.
Condensation. 12.1 You should ensure that the Property is sufficiently heated and ventilated to avoid condensation and mould growth. If there is excess condensation you must wipe down surfaces promptly with bleach or an anti-mould product to help prevent mould growth recurring. You may also be held responsible for making good any damaged areas as a result of your failure to heat and ventilate the Property. If you are in any doubt as to how to do so, please ask the Landlord or his Property Manager for advice.
12.2 Please note that the drying of clothes inside the Property, except in areas designated for that purpose, should be avoided as it is likely to increase condensation.
12.3 Trickle vents shall be left open at all times and extractor fans in bathrooms and kitchens should be used to minimise condensation problems.
12.4 Curtains and blinds should be kept open during the day to help minimise any condensation and damp in the property.
Condensation. At this time of year one of the major problems encountered by UDC tenants is condensation - and this could lead to mould growth in the home. Condensation is caused by the way we heat and ventilate our homes. As we improve the thermal efficiency of a building, such as UPVC windows door and blocking fireplaces, we reduce the natural ways in which the home was previously ventilated. ¦ Provide natural ventilation - keep windows and trickle vents open whenever possible ¦ Don’t dry damp clothes on radiators ¦ Close adjoining doors linking kitchens and bathrooms with other rooms in the house ¦ Use cooker hoods and provided extractor fans where possible ¦ Heat your home properly with the aid of the above preventative measures - allowing the house to cool down allows cold spots for mould to grow if the steps highlighted above do not prevent the growth of mould and dampness, ¦ In some instances there may be underlying construction issues, however these cases are very few in number and most causes of mould and condensation are the result of the issues as highlighted above.
