CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. (a) The Agreement has been developed to reflect the commitment of the parties to achieving the objectives of this Agreement.
(b) A key factor to realising the objectives of this Agreement will be open and effective communication within the workplace. Consistent with this philosophy, the following consultative processes will be established to enhance communication on workplace issues:
(i) Regular monthly general meetings shall be conducted involving the employer and the employees, either one to one, in small groups or collectively for the purposes of consultation and communication.
(ii) The employees may elect an employee representative or representatives as their communicator/s for the following purposes; · Communication of change · Discussion on quality, service and continuous improvement · Consultation on work related issues · Employee input · Training and development · Discussion on any other topic;
(iii) The employees shall make themselves available for monthly general meetings;
(iv) Employees will be paid ordinary rates of pay for time to attend staff meetings.
(v) Employees who are more than 10 minutes late without a reasonable excuse, will not be paid for attendance at the meeting.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. The University will provide Community Leaders, RECLs, SCAs, and Senior Community Leaders with an appropriate place for holding consultations with the residents; a land line in their rooms for work related use; and access to a shared ”on call” and support cell phones when on an in-night shift.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. If the Employer has made a definite decision to introduce major changes in production, program, organisation, structure or technology that are likely to have significant effects on employees, the Employer will notify the employees who may be affected by the changes, and if requested by the employees their nominated representative. Significant changes may include but are not limited to:
(a) Termination of employment;
(b) Major changes in the composition, operation or size of the Employer’s workforce or in the skills required;
(c) Elimination or reduction of job opportunities, promotion opportunities or locations;
(d) Alteration of hours of work outside of those detailed in this agreement;
(e) Need to retrain or transfer to other work locations; or
(f) Restructure of jobs. The Employer will discuss with the employees affected, and if they request their nominated representative, issues including:
(g) The introduction of the changes;
(h) The effects the changes are likely to have on the employees;
(i) Measures to prevent or lessen the adverse effect of changes on employees; and
(j) Will promptly consider matters raised by the employees or nominated representative about the changes. The discussions will start as soon as practicable after the Employer has made the decision and in any event before the changes are implemented. Before the discussion, the Employer will provide the employees and if requested their nominated representatives with all relevant information about the changes including the nature of the proposed changes, the expected effect of the changes on the employees and any other matters likely to affect employees The Employer will not be required to provide confidential information that is detrimental to the Employer’s interests.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. The parties are committed to consultation and communication throughout all management levels of the employer as effective mechanisms for communication are fundamental to the achievements of greater productivity, efficiency, flexibility and job satisfaction
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. 13.3.1 To consult and communicate with residents as required in the Code of Practice and this agreement and as may be requested by the Statutory Supervisor from time to time.
13.3.2 To attend (or if more appropriate, for the Village Manager to attend) meetings of residents as requested by the residents.
13.3.3 To ensure residents can contact the Trust through the Village Manager.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. 3.1.1 The parties commit to continuing dialogue over the operation of the provisions of the Agreement.
3.1.2 Where it becomes apparent that a provision or provisions contained in this Agreement are no longer permissible content as a consequence of the operation of the Act or Regulations (thereby becoming a provision of concern), the parties commit to holding discussions as soon as practicable to discuss the effect of the Act or Regulations and commit to take all reasonable measures to uphold the intended effect of the provision or provisions of concern.
3.1.3 The parties are committed to consultation and communication throughout all management levels of the employer as effective mechanisms for communication are fundamental to the achievements of greater productivity, efficiency, flexibility and job satisfaction.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. 9.1. A joint promotional plan will be developed to promote this Agreement and help achieve its objective and purpose. Details are contained in Appendix 6.
9.2. GNE will consult with the Board, bus users, xxxx members and/or their representatives in advance of all Significant Network Changes to commercial services operated by GNE within the Area, in accordance with the consultation plan set out in Appendix 7.
9.3. If, as a result of a Significant Network Change, direct bus links are lost or services are withdrawn, GNE will provide the Board with a case report to explain the reasoning behind the decision. This report will include relevant data on any contributing issues such as patronage trend, revenue trend, factors driving costs upwards, reliability/punctuality underperformance or any other material issue.
9.4. Any Significant Network Changes to secured bus services that are proposed by Nexus will be subject to the same consultation process outlined in this section and in Appendix 7, alongside any policies adopted by Nexus to consult on service changes. Further details can be found at Section 14 of this Agreement.
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. 43.1 The parties to this Agreement acknowledge that effective working relationships are a key component of the Values of the organisation and our joint ability to both safely deliver high‐ quality person‐centred care to our clients, and to lead and interact with staff at all levels of the organisation in an inspired and person‐centred way. Accordingly, it is acknowledged that such effective relationships can only be achieved and maintained with appropriate, relevant, open and honest communication and consultation.
43.2 To assist in achieving this objective, a range of critical workplace activities and initiatives will be implemented and/or maintained:
a) Daily interactions between employees, teams and management will be based upon mutual respect, courtesy and integrity
b) Employees will be encouraged to raise issues and openly discuss matters of concern with their supervisors, team leaders and managers
c) Regular staff meetings will be conducted at service level, whereby employees will have formal opportunities to raise issues with their team members and management
d) Workload management issues may be formally raised in the above service level meetings, with this issue a mandatory agenda item on at least a quarterly basis in accordance with clause 46 of this Agreement
e) Grievance and dispute settling will be conducted with the objective of resolving issues of concern in a responsive and effective manner. Where necessary, formal guidelines are to be applied in accordance with the agreed procedures prescribed in clause 47 of this Agreement
f) Major workplace change matters are to be dealt with in accordance with the principles and procedures prescribed in clause 44 of this Agreement
CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION. The parties are committed to consultation and communication throughout all levels and particularly where employer policies and employee change of status is being implemented. The parties agree that genuine and effective mechanisms for consultation and communication are fundamental to the achievement of greater job satisfaction, productivity, efficiency and flexibility. The parties reaffirm their commitment to the requirements of the Introduction of Change as stated in clause 13.1.

(b) A key factor to realising the objectives of this Agreement will be open and effective communication within the workplace. Consistent with this philosophy, regular meetings will be conducted when required or requested to enhance communication on workplace issues:
(c) The parties to this Agreement recognise the existing industrial relations structures, which involve an open and consultative approach, which has positively benefited the organisation and assisted it to resolve industrial issued affecting both the industry and the employer.
(d) Accordingly, the parties to this Agreement agree to continue to utilise such industrial structures in the future in a way that continues the open consultative approach.
