Duties of the Student. The student shall: i. Disclose to the educational institution full and accurate academic and personal information as required for applications for admission, registration, and enrolment purposes. ii. Inform the educational institution if there is any change to the academic or personal information that was provided at admission, registration or enrolment stage as soon as is reasonably practicable. iii. Fulfill all the academic requirements of the educational programme; including participating in lectures/tutorials or other guided-learning activities, submitting coursework/assignments on time, participate in course-related activities and adequately prepare and sit for examinations/assessments. iv. Abide by any statutes, regulations, rules and policies which are in place in the educational institution, and which apply to students. v. Overseas students shall furnish the educational institution with any change in their contact details, which include their residential address and telephone number in Malta as well as a contact address overseas, following the completion of their studies.

Duties of the Student. (a) The student shall commit himself/herself to act according to the purpose of training, to carry out thoroughly the work entrusted to, to comply with the instructions given to him/her by the personnel entrusted, and to conform to the regulations in force, especially the work regulations, the safety regulations, and the duty of discretion. (b) The student shall, upon company´s request, take out liability insurance appropriate to the duration and the subject matter of the present contract, unless the risk of liability is covered by a collective insurance taken out by the company. (c) The student shall without delay inform the company in the event of absence from duty or inability to work due to illness and produce a medical certificate on the third day thereafter at the latest. (d) The student shall use documents and other items necessary for work made available to him/her for the purpose only of the practical period and shall return these completely, without delay and without being asked for unless otherwise approved. (e) The student shall present his/her report on the practical period to the company first, who shall confirm him/her the presentation thereof by signing the original text and any subsequent copy. The parties to the contract declare their consent that other students are allowed to look through the report for training purposes.

The student undertakes to carefully perform the pursuits assigned within the framework of the professional internship and to observe the applicable regulations, in particular work regulations, accident prevention regulations and the regulations on confidentiality. 2. The institution/company must be notified immediately of any absence due to illness or similar. In case of incapacity to work due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted on the third day the latest. 3. The conclusion of a private liability insurance is recommended.

The student agrees to act in accordance with the aims of the internship, the rules of the work place and to comply with orders and instructions given to him by persons entrusted with the supervision of his/her training. 2. The student will notify the internship provider immediately about any absence from work, and, in case of incapacity for work as a result of illness, to submit a medical certificate on the third day of the absence at the latest. Absences of more than 5 days have to be compensated through a prolonged internship period. 3. The student submits an internship report to the internship provider for approval and feedback and then submits it to his/her supervisor at the faculty.

Use reasonable endeavours to fulfil the requirements specified by the EGS for the programme of study. vi. Comply with the statutes, regulations, rules and policies of the EGS (as amended from time to time), and all other reasonable requirements of the EGS, the student accept the jurisdiction of the EGS in all matters connected with the studies. vii. Pay by the relevant due date the full amount of the tuition fees, general fees and any other applicable fees or charges relating to each course the student enrol in (or request enrollment in) as prescribed by the EGS. If any amounts are not paid by the due date, the student acknowledge that the EGS has the right to terminate this Agreement under clause 7/ii below. If the EGS doesn't terminate this Agreement the student agree to pay all applicable late fees and reinstatement fees. The student also agrees to reimburse the EGS for all third party legal and collection costs incurred by the EGS in recovering any overdue amounts. viii. Update the EGS as soon as practicable if any information that has been provided to the EGS changes (including but not limited to the student contact details) ix. Update the EGS if the student’s health needs (including mental health needs) change, or if any other concerns about the wellbeing and the ability to study. The student’s health, safety and wellbeing are a priority for the EGS, and we ask to provide this information so that we can offer an appropriate support and, where relevant, assist to access additional services. We also ask that the student notify the EGS for concerns about discrimination, racism, bullying, harassment or abuse, or about the wellbeing and safety or behaviour of other students. x. Duties of the Student. The student hereby agrees to and shall: 4.1: Make no assignment of or sublet the premises assigned; nor move into any premises other than the one assigned without advanced approval from the Department of Housing and Residence Life; nor at any time withdraw from the University without officially checking out of their assigned bed space with the resident assistant and/or the Housing Office staff and returning the assigned room key. 4.2: Make no nonresidential use whatsoever of the space or any portion of the building in which the space is situated.

Duties of the Student. 6.1. The Student shall use the residents only for its intended purpose and take care of it as well as of the University equipment, inventory and any other property of the Residence, comply with fire-safety regulations and other legal acts and rules related to exploitation of the Residence in such a way that the condition of the Residence would be as much of the same condition as it was before assigning to the Student; 6.2. The student shall use residential and common areas, sanitary appliances, equipment and other property of the dormitory in a careful manner, comply with fire-safety regulations and other legal acts and rules related to exploitation of the building and common areas; 6.3. Comply with legal requirements of the dormitory or University administration; 6.4. Be responsible for their own and their guests’ behavior in the dormitory; 6.5. Pay the monthly fee for living in the dormitory in time and in accordance with the procedure defined in the Agreement; 6.6. Compensate all damage experienced by the University through the Student or his/her guests’ fault, non-compliance or inappropriate compliance of duties. The Student also has to compensate the damage to the third party if it occurred because of the Student or his/her guest’s guilt or negligence. 6.7. Introduce the guests with the rules and comply with them himself/herself; breaking them or this Agreement causes responsibility in accordance to the clauses of the Procedure.

Fulfil all assigned tasks reliably and comply with instructions given within the scope of the practical training, 3. Comply with the policy of the internship/work experience placement, as well as the health and safety regulations. Machines and equipment must be handled with care, 4. Comply with the interests of the internship/work experience placement and any confi- dentiality clause, 5. Duties of the Student. 2.3.1. To faithfully implement the Internship tasks stated in Annex 1 to the Agreement in the work period specified by the Company, in compliance with the instructions and requirements of the Internship Supervisor and Internship Coordinator; 2.3.2. To immediately notify the Internship Supervisor and Internship Coordinator on Internship workplace non-attendance and the reasons for non-attendance; 2.3.3. To get acquainted and to observe the Company Code of Conduct, regulations on personal data protection, occupational safety, safety equipment, health and safety regulations; 2.3.6. Upon completion of the Internship, to draw up the Internship Report and to submit it to the Coordinator; 2.3.7. Not to disclose to third parties confidential information that came at Student’s disposal; 2.3.8. Not to process, as well as not to store and not to illegally disclose the data of other natural persons provided for the disposal of the Student. The Student shall perform personal data processing observing the requirements of exclusively effective legal enactments of the Republic of Latvia, as well as the Company policies and regulations with regard to personal data processing. The obligation to observe the requirements laid down in Paragraph 2.3.7 of this Agreement, including nondisclosure of the personal data, is binding for the Student also after the completion of the Internship and termination of the Agreement. In case during the Internship the Student illegally discloses natural person data or confidential information given to their disposal without due cause, the Company is eligible to withdraw from this Agreement in writing; 2.3.9. On signing this Agreement, the Student is informed about their personal data transfer to the Company and RTU, as well as about their data processing for the causes stipulated by this Agreement.
