Illness on annual leave. If an employee becomes ill during annual leave, their annual leave entitlement will be extended to offset the period of illness provided:
Illness on annual leave. Where a team member suffers sickness or a serious incapacitating illness for seven (7) working days or more during annual leave, the annual leave will be re-credited for the period of the illness upon the team member producing within seven days of returning to work, a certificate from a duly qualified medical practitioner confirming the period of illness. Such re-credited annual leave will not attract annual leave loading of 17.5%.
Illness on annual leave. Where a Flight Attendant becomes ill during annual leave, for a period of not less than seven consecutive days, that period will be counted as sick leave to the extent that the Flight Attendant has sick leave credits. The Flight Attendant must advise the Company as soon as practicable after the commencement of the illness and produce proof of illness within seven days of return to duty. Such proof will be in the form of a certificate from a qualified medical practitioner. Consideration will be given by the Company to granting the equivalent substitute annual leave in the manner requested by the Flight Attendant.
Illness on annual leave. Illness while on annual leave shall be handled in accordance with the provision of Clause 41, and will not count as annual leave, if the period of illness exceeds three days. The Employer may ask for reasonable evidence of such illness.
Illness on annual leave. If an Employee becomes ill during annual leave, their annual leave entitlement may be reinstated provided that they:
(a) provide evidence to support that they were not fit for work because of a personal illness or personal injury affecting them whilst hey were on paid annual leave; or
(b) they provide evidence to support that they were providing care or support to a member of their immediate family or a member of their household who required care or support because of a personal illness or injury or an emergency affecting the member; and
(c) the Employee has sufficient personal/carers leave entitlements for the period of illness.
Illness on annual leave. 6.1 An employee who is ill or injured on annual leave and who produces reasonable evidence may apply for personal/carers leave and have the annual leave period re credited.
73.8 An employee on Annual Leave can, on production of medical or other supporting documentation, apply to take PCL for illness, injury and caring purposes or Compassionate Leave or Community Service Leave and have the Annual Leave recredited.

An employee who is ill, or who suffers an injury while on annual leave will, on production of documentary evidence to the satisfaction of the employer, be entitled to additional leave (re- crediting of leave) in lieu of the period of illness or injury, provided that the employee's personal leave is sufficient to cover the absence of the illness or injury.
Illness on annual leave. If an employee becomes ill during annual leave, their annual leave entitlement will be recredited to offset the period of illness provided:
(a) a medical certificate is supplied; and
(b) sick leave entitlements are available for the period of illness.
