Eligibility for Increments. (a) Permanent Part-time Employees shall be eligible to receive a step increment upon having completed the equivalent number of hours that a Permanent Full-time Employee in the same classification would work to receive a step increment. (b) Employees who are employed as Lead Hand, Xxxxxxx and Supervisors at Step 1 shall be entitled to an increment to Step 2 of their salary scale per “Notes to Schedule C” (b) and (e). (i) Employees who are on Pay Grades 9 to 14 shall, subject to the completion of satisfactory performance, receive six (6) month increments from Step 1 to Step 2 and from Step 2 to Step 3 of their respective pay grades. Increments from Step 3 to Step 4 and from Step 4 to Step 5 within the pay grade shall be on an annual basis subject to the completion of satisfactory performance. (ii) Employees who are on Pay Grade 15 shall, subject to the completion of satisfactory performance, receive a six (6) month increment from Step 1 to Step 2 of the pay grade. Increments through the remainder of the pay grade shall be on an annual basis from Step 2, subject to the completion of satisfactory performance. (iii) Except as shown in (c)(i) and (ii), all other classifications receive increments on an annual basis following the completion of satisfactory performance.

Eligibility for Increments. Each teacher who worked more than one-half of the teacher duty days for the 2016-17 school year will be advanced one step on the salary schedule for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years, until the maximum step has been reached. There shall be no withholding of increments during the term of this agreement. Increments contained in the 2018-19 salary schedule will not be paid in the 2019-20 school year in the absence of an agreement between the parties covering the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021.

Recognition of Prior Experience Full credit for teaching experience in other school systems shall be given at the discretion of the Executive Director. National Certification Any teacher who has achieved one of the following national certifications shall be paid a stipend of three hundred ($300.00) dollars. This stipend shall not be considered part of the teacher’s annual salary. The Cooperative will support the teacher in maintaining the national certification through approval of conferences, webinars, or other professional development opportunities mandated by the re-certification requirements. The teacher shall provide a copy of current certification prior to September 15 of each school year. The following certifications shall apply: National Board of Professional Teaching Guidance Counselors: LPC (Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy-Licensed Professional Counselor) Occupational Therapists: NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) Physical Therapists: ABPTS-PCS (American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties-Pediatric Certified Specialist) Psychologists: NASP-NCSP (National Association of School Psychologists-National Certified School Psychologist) Social Workers: LSW, LGSW, LISW, or LICSW (Minnesota Board of Social Work-Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Graduate Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) Speech Language Pathologists: ASHA-CCC-SLP (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Behavior Consultant: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
