Employee Attire. The parties agree that instructional staff members set an example in dress and grooming for their students to follow. An instructional staff member who understands this precept and adheres to it enlarges the importance of his/her task, presents an image of professionalism, and encourages respect for authority. These factors act in a positive manner toward the maintenance of discipline.

Employee Attire. A. While on duty, employees will dress in a professional manner conducive to safety and consistent with the environment in which they work. Employees’ attire will be in good repair and will not be inconsistent with or distracting from the business purposes of the office environment. B. The following are some examples of clothing that would be considered appropriate: clean orthopedic or dress shoes, suits, dress pants, trouser-like jeans in a dark wash, polo-shirts, dress shirts, skirts, dresses, blouses, and blazers. The following are some examples of clothing that would be considered inappropriate: athletic shoes, flip-flops, tank tops, low- cut blouses, shirts or t-shirts with slogans, and faded pants. C. Employees may be requested to dress in a more formal manner when there are visitors in the workplace. Employees will be provided prior notice regarding such visits. D. Employees representing the Agency at a meeting or conference, making a formal presentation, or delivering formal training should dress in a more formal manner, as appropriate for the occasion.

Employee Attire. SECTION 1. The Company may provide uniform shirts, company hats, pants and a jacket to designated employees. For those employees required to wear uniforms, the Company will provide this clothing to the employee at no cost. The Company will also provide replacement clothing at no cost to the employee. If such an incident occurs, the employee is to wear plain apparel that does not contain other logos or designs. SECTION 3. Uniform shirts, pants, company hats (if a hat is worn) and jacket shall be required for all outside plant employees, CO and CPE employees. Retail Store employees shall be required to wear uniform shirts. SECTION 4. A sufficient number of shirts will be provided by the Company to each participating employee so that an employee can have 5 clean shirts on hand on a weekly basis. Shirts will be appropriate for summer and winter wear. The initial allotment provided to employees covered by the uniform program will be seven (7) shirts, seven (7) pants, four (4) hats, two (2) appropriate “hoodies” (if available from the supplier and not sweat jackets or sweatshirts), and one (1) jacket. There will be an option to select a red shirt. SECTION 5. Unless the Union objects, the Union logo will be on the uniform shirts provided by the Company. The Union logo(s) shall be based on mutual agreement and may include one or more of the following logos: Communications Workers of America, the official CWA logo, “CWA”, or “CWA” with the CWA Local number. With permission from local management or at management’s request, apparel may be worn that has local or state customer appeal, such as for charitable events and fundraisers, or using university logos. Employees’ attire will be in good repair and will not be inappropriately revealing for the office environment. B. Employees should dress in business casual attire when the Employee is attending a meeting or conference, making a formal presentation, delivering formal training, or otherwise representing the Agency. On a daily basis and except as noted above, attire that is permitted includes business attire, business casual attire, jeans, and cropped or Capri pants (below the knee). Attire that is not permitted includes shorts and exercise or workout wear. C. Employees may be requested to dress in business casual attire when there are visitors in the workplace. Employees will be provided prior notice regarding such visits. Dressing in business casual attire when performing one’s normal duties may be requested but will not be required.

Employee Attire. All employees of the Contractor shall be neatly attired, in uniforms with the company logo. Jeans will only be allowed during “casual or western” events where jeans would be appropriate. No sweat-shirts, exercise or casual attire will be allowed to be worn by Contractors staff during events while interacting with the public. All employees must wear a name badge that is provided by the Contractor.
