Differential Payments. A. Employees shall be paid, in addition to their basic rates, differentials for working tours which fall wholly or partly within the period 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M., in accordance with Table "A" of 3.07 and "B", "C", "D", "E" and "F" below, as appropriate, except, the total number of differentials to be paid for any work between 7:00 P.M. and the following 7:00 A.M. shall not exceed 2.
B. All employees, except those who work in Operator Services and are covered by the provisions of Table A of 3.07, will be paid differentials for those tours which fall wholly or partially within the period 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. in the amount of 10% of their basic wage rate.
C. Where connecting overtime work (see 1.04) extends into a period for which evening or night differentials are payable, compensation for that day shall include a differential payment in the amount of 10% of the basic daily wage rate except that no such differential will be payable for time worked between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
D. Where overtime of 4 or more hours duration is worked which does not connect with a scheduled tour, and any part of the overtime is between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M., compensation for that day shall include the proper proportion of the applicable differential payment.
E. Only one evening or night differential shall be paid for work performed between 7:00 P.M. and the following 7:00 A.M. except in cases where an employee has earned such a differential under "C" or "D" above and starts his/her next scheduled work prior to 7:00 A.M.
F. When an Operator Services employee is temporarily assigned to work on a job on a different wage scale performing duties other than those in Operator Services and works a normal tour for the job to which he/she is loaned, such employee shall be paid applicable evening and night differentials in the amount of 10% of his/her basic rate.
G. Any employee, except Service Assistants and employees designated as Working Leader, directed by the Company to assist in the training of a group of employees will be paid, in addition to his/her basic rate, differentials for tours so worked in accordance with the following:
1. Basic Conditions:
a. Operators leaving their switchboard work to assist in the training of one or more Operators will be regarded as performing the duties of coach, and for such periods as they are so engaged will be entitled to receive the differential set forth in "2" below.

Differential Payments. 1/1/15: One fourth of one percent (0.25%) of the AFSCME state appropriated payroll effective June 30, 2014, to be distributed on an annualized basis, as follows: Effective the first full pay period in June 2015, these monies shall be used to fund the 50 cents per calendar week per FTE increase in Health and Welfare Funding. An amount sufficient to fund the increase in reimbursement rates to employees as set forth in Article 15 Section 3 of the 2014-2017 Agreement. The remainder of the funds, if any, will be equally split for two purposes: professional development and educational assistance. The parties agree to establish a Professional Development and Educational Assistance Committee to administer both sets of funds including, but not limited to, determining the use of such funds, employee eligibility for such funds, the manner and methodology for the distribution of such funds to employees and the reallocation of monies between the two sets of funds. Such Committee shall be comprised of six (6) members; three (3) representing the Board
Differential Payments. 45.01 Employees temporarily acting in the capacity of work leader shall be paid, in addition to their base rate, a differential of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours worked in such capacity. Employees temporarily acting in the capacity of Company school instructor shall be paid, in addition to their base rate, a differential of fifteen cents ($.15) per hour for all hours worked in such capacity. The opportunity for Work Leader assignments will be rotated among qualified employees on a voluntary basis per employee requests and operational availability. Should there not be any volunteers; the Company would retain its right to assign Work Leader duties. The determination of qualifications required for Work Leader assignments will be at the Company’s discretion. Employees serving in a Work Leader capacity as noted above will receive differential pay in accordance with Article 45.01.
45.02 Employees working scheduled hours which start or end between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a premium of two dollars and thirty cents $2.30 per hour effective for the life of the agreement.
a) Employees working scheduled tours, which begin or end between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M., who are required to work connecting overtime, shall receive differential pay during such connecting overtime hours.
b) In addition, any employee working hours identified as overtime hours, will receive differential additives for all hours worked, that fall between 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. The differential amount is not compounded when the qualifying hours are worked at an overtime premium rate.

Differential Payments a. Bilingual. A Bilingual Differential of $0.65 per hour will be paid for designated workgroup(s) in Call Center locations. The differential will apply to the scheduled tour of duty provided the assignment is for a period in excess of one (1) full hour.

Differential Payments. Full wages will be paid for the day of injury and the first seven (7) days of the job related injury or illness, or for that part of the day spent receiving medical care. An employee sustaining a lost-time injury with personal l eave, banked s i ck and/ o r vacation leave credited to his/her account, may request the Fire Chief to apply personal leave, banked sick and/or vacation leave to obtain full base pay In no case shall the amount of Worker's Compensation, personal leave, banked sick and/or vacation leave, or any other payments received by the employee exceed the employee’s base pay for that period. After an employee has exhausted all personal leave, banked sick and/or vacation leave he/she may request to use the Personal Leave Donation Program. If the Personal Leave Donation program is granted, then in no event shall the amount of Worker's Compensation and Personal Leave donations exceed the employee’s base pay for that period. In no event shall Personal Leave donations exceed six (6) months for any single injury. An employee who has been granted the use of personal leave, banked sick and/or vacation leave will receive only such p a y on the City's payroll, plus pay for any work actually performed, or holidays, if any. Worker's Compensation checks will be available to the employee as soon as they are received by the City unless directly mailed to the employee.
Differential Payments. When an employee's straight time scheduled hours of work fall wholly or in part between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., the employee shall be paid an evening or night differential of eighty-five cents (850) per hour for all such hours worked between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. on such tours including connecting overtime hours.
