Filling Posted Vacancies. 1. Posted vacancies will first be filled by certified and qualified interested teachers within the building as an internal transfer. The principal, subject to approval of the Director of Personnel, will be responsible for authorizing the assignment and transfer of all existing teaching staff. The principal will confer with members of a building level advisor team to assist in determining appropriate changes. Following an appeal to the PGC, a teacher may exercise the grievance process for resolution through the Board Level.

If the transfer is not granted, reasons for the denial shall be provided to the Association and the employee.
