Health Care Cost Containment. The Employer at its option may implement any of all of the following health care cost containment programs:
Health Care Cost Containment a. Any premium contribution will be paid by the applicable employee through payroll deductions. All payroll deductions will be made pursuant to a qualified pre-tax payroll deduction plan.
Health Care Cost Containment. For each year this Contract is in effect, the Board agrees to pay one hundred ten percent (110%) over the prior year’s Board-paid portion of the monthly premium cost for applicable coverage outlined in this Article. Any premium amounts in excess of one hundred ten percent (110%) of the prior year’s Board-paid rates will be shared equally by the employee and employer on a cumulative dollar for dollar basis through payroll deduction, in addition to any employee contribution specified above.

Health Care Cost Containment. 23.401 The Company and the Union will establish a Cost Containment Committee comprised of four members from management and four members from the Union plus alternates. This committee will be responsible for minimizing health care costs. The first meeting will be shortly after ratification. Subsequent meetings will be held in November and May.
Health Care Cost Containment. During the course of 2007 negotiations, International Association of Firefighter's, Local #330, and the City of Akron conducted in-depth discussions concerning escalating health care costs and the manner in which health care costs continue to exceed the general inflation rate affecting other goods and services. Additionally, the parties renewed their commitment to provide a wide choice of medical service providers to these same individuals, while protecting them from the financial hardship that can result from occurrences of injury or disease. The parties recognized that continued health care inflation not only has a negative impact on overall employment costs, but also seriously impedes both parties' ability to provide health care coverage at present and future benefit levels. As a result of these discussions, both parties affirmed their commitment to control health care costs and to insure maximum value for funds spent to provide health care coverage. Both parties determined that the effort should be made to control health care cost escalation through a joint exploration of three (3) broad areas.
