Investigation of Grievance. 1. Building representatives designated under the preceding section shall be permitted to investigate grievances, complaints, disputes, controversies or disagreements during working hours, provided such investigation does not interfere with their teaching or other assigned duties, or the teaching or assigned duties of either the teacher, whose grievance is being investigated, or any other employee.

Investigation of Grievance. The Local Union President or the grievance designee may request time through the Superintendent or the Superintendent’s Designee to investigate and/or process a grievance. This released time, if approved, will be without loss of time or pay in performing the investigation.
Investigation of Grievance. Before commencing the investigation of any grievance (that requires action during working hours), the xxxxxxx shall get the permission of the supervisor. The investiga- tion, presentations, or consultation on grievances should be carried on outside working hours whenever possible. If a xxxxxxx must use working time to investigate a grievance, it shall be done as expeditiously and with as little interruption of work as possible. The appropriate Union representatives may be allowed time off the job without loss of time or pay, with the approval of the department manager, to meet, or the meeting will be scheduled at a non-work time.
Investigation of Grievance. One Union xxxxxxx will be allowed up to one hour off during normal working hours without loss of normal pay to investigate a single grievance subject, with the aggrieved, but prior consent must be obtained from his immediate supervisor. For purposes of this Section, the time will be granted consistent with operating conditions, but not later than one hour prior to the end of the shift during which the request is made.
Investigation of Grievance. Within ten (10) days after receipt of the grievance, the grievance officer shall conduct an investigation into the allegations, which may include a meeting with the parties involved, and communicate the findings, attached to the grievance form, in writing to the grievant and to the immediate supervisor, with a copy forwarded to the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources.
Investigation of Grievance. A designated member of the Grievance Committee shall, without loss of time or pay, be permitted to use working hours when necessary for the purpose of investigating grievances which have been filed after appropriate arrangements are made with the supervisor. If the Grievance Committee member is requested by the Employer to handle a grievance or attend a meeting with Employer representatives after the regularly scheduled work day, he/she shall receive compensatory time off at a mutually acceptable time.

  • Initiation of Grievance When a dispute arises, an attempt shall be made by the Faculty Member to settle the grievance with the appropriate management representative.   • Grievance Investigations Where an employee has asked or is obliged to be represented by the Institute in relation to the presentation of a grievance and an employee acting on behalf of the Institute wishes to discuss the grievance with that employee, the employee and the representative of the employee will, where operational requirements permit, be given reasonable leave with pay for this purpose when the discussion takes place in the headquarters area of such employee and leave without pay when it takes place outside the headquarters area of such employee.

  • Grievance Mediation a) At any stage in the grievance procedure, the parties by mutual consent in writing may elect to resolve the grievance by using grievance mediation. The parties shall agree on the individual to be the mediator and the time frame in which a resolution is to be reached.
