Janitor. The work of a janitor shall consist of maintaining the cleanliness of the offices of the Company's facilities including hallways, bathrooms, commissary rooms, operations area, passenger and pilot lounges and may be required to assist with washing aircraft dishes. He will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the parking lots and areas immediately surrounding the exterior of the hangars and A & D building including the removal of the trash from bins and ashtrays and the policing of litter from those areas. He shall also receive training in the use of materials and equipment necessary for the performance of his duties. He shall also be called upon to use Company vehicles to run local errands provided he possesses a valid license to operate such vehicles. He shall make Hotel Runs and/or miscellaneous crew and passenger transportation. He will also perform other tasks relative to his classification. The work of the Fuel Farm Attendant shall be the same as a Line Service Technician Classification. The Fuel Farm Attendant will be responsible for the entire operation and upkeep of the Fuel Farm. Tasking will encompass doing daily, weekly and monthly inspections as outlined on the respective sign-off sheets. these documents must be retained on site and filed in their appropriate binders or logs. This position will also be responsible for the inventory and control of supplies. Sump all fuel tanks and filters, order fuel tank loads/communicate with Meridian, maintain fuel hose trays, check condition of hoses, nozzles and couplings, check bonding cable for frays and/or broken clamps, test tank alarms, check and clean drip pans, assist with millipore monthly checks, assist with fuel filter vessel maintenance, check pipes and valves for leaks, check fuel recovery units/drain off water, check oil/water separator panel for alarms, inspect all posted warning signs on fences/gates, maintain security of the facility, complete all daily, weekly and monthly sign-offs, perform weekly inspection of fire suppression system, assist transport drivers with deliveries, assist Port Authority and Airport Operators on visits and/or inspections, submit supply inventories, perform minor grounds keeping and snow removal.

Janitor. If the Janitor is absent from his duties, the Company will ensure that sanitary conditions are maintained. If the Janitor is absent for one (1) full day or more, the Company will appoint another employee to perform the duties of the Janitor. If the absence is the result of sickness, injury, floater or lieu day, the company may elect not to appoint a replacement until the second day of absence. 1/ Group 1 production employees will select a job preference from among the Group 1 jobs available. Selections will be made annually in April, for implementation in May. Employees have two days to select their preference or their name is bypassed. This applies to employees scheduled at work (holidays, vacation, sickness and days off do not count). Any employee not qualified for his selection shall be trained within 4 weeks. The number of job slots on the "Preference Sheet" will match the number of Group 1 employees. A second preference slot will be included on the sheet. 2/ A shift schedule shall be posted not later than 12:00 Monday for the succeeding week. Work shall be assigned by seniority in accordance with each employee's job preference with the following exceptions: a/ there is no work available on the position b/ another employee is being trained on the employee's preference c/ the employee's qualifications are required on another occupation d/ the employee is being trained on another job An employee affected by point (a) above shall be designated a spare employee.
Janitor. Under general supervision, may be required to sweep, mop and polish floors; clean, dust and polish desks, furniture and other equipment; wash windows; remove collected waste and refuse in accordance with fire ordinances and regulations.
Janitor. During negotiations, the parties discussed the Janitor classification and it was agreed that the cleaning of washrooms, lunchrooms and first aid room will be performed by an outside cleaning agency on the afternoon shift. The company will continue to have one (1) Janitor on Day Shift who will clean the washrooms, lunchrooms, first aid and Employee entrance floor along with other janitorial duties as per the job description. When the janitor is absent the Company will temporarily transfer another employee to the janitor classification. Maintenance person’s will not be expected to perform the janitor’s duties. However, should the janitor be absent for less than a day, maintenance personnel may be required to perform the janitor’s roll in cleaning dust collectors.
Janitor. (a) Under the direction of the immediate Supervisor, Employees in this position perform a large variety of cleaning within assigned buildings, including vacant dwellings, and cleanliness of assigned outside areas. Specific duties include: cleaning of floors, carpets (except on moveouts), walls and furniture; moving Commission and Tenant furniture effects within a development; dusting; sweeping, cleaning snow when required; picking up litter and removal of garbage; cleaning janitorial equipment, mopping, washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming and general cleaning; internal window washing; external window washing to the limit of the reasonable use of a xxxxxx pole; smoke alarm cleaning; changing light bulbs where there is no Building Manager assigned and in hazardous areas when the Building Manager is off duty; the use of associated equipment, tools and cleaning materials. When required shall drive the Employer's vehicle.
(b) At the time of move-out and unit preparation for new tenants, Janitors will remove to the best of their ability a reasonable amount of wallpaper of the dry strippable type. If the wallpaper installation is such that removal requires the use of a steam stripper, the Commission shall provide the equipment. Janitors shall not be required to remove wallpaper in situations where whole rooms in a housing unit have been papered.
