Leave Accounting. Leave Accounting will be established for the administration of this program. Each employee in the PO unit who has paid service in Payroll 02 of each year, will have an equal number of hours deducted from their twenty-four (24) hours Floating Holiday time in Payroll 03. The initial leave deduction will take place in Payroll 03 of FY 06/07. Successive years will be prorated as determined by leave usage. Upon request, leave usage reports will be made available to the Probation Officers’ Association.
Leave Accounting. The Board shall provide each teacher with an accounting of their total sick leave credit, which may be provided electronically.
Leave Accounting. When regular reports are developed on absences requiring substitute employees, they shall be made available to the Association. Such reports shall include: Annual leave Professional leave (BVEA days) District in-service Administration-initiated meetings F-13 CHILDREN OF EMPLOYEES: Children of employees will have a preference to attend the school in which the employee works, in accordance with District open enrollment policies and procedures.
Leave Accounting. Members of the unit shall be given a written accounting of accumulated unused sick leave days each school year.
Leave Accounting. FLSA Exempt employees who work less than regularly scheduled hours in a bi- weekly pay period must submit a leave request form and use accrued leaves to make up the difference between actual hours worked and the “normal” work hours in a bi-monthly pay period. For the purpose of this section, attendance at City meetings or training outside the regular work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shall not count as hours worked. For example, an employee who works 8 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 hours on Thursday (in the office or in the field), 4 hours on Friday and 8 hours per day for the remainder of the bi-weekly pay period would not have worked for two hours of the bi-monthly pay period. In this scenario, an employee would be required to receive approval for the leave, complete a Leave Request Form and charge accrued vacation, administrative leave or sick leave as appropriate, for 2 hours. Management employees will be required to complete timesheets that identify the number of hours worked per day. Hours worked for attendance at City meetings or training outside the regular work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. do not need to be recorded. Preauthorization for a change in the regular work schedule must be obtained from the Department Head.
Leave Accounting. A report of each teacher's sick leave status will be included on the teacher's bi-weekly check register when it is within the capability of the district's computer system. An individual report may be procured upon request. An end of the year sick leave status report will be given to each teacher.
Leave Accounting. Each Employee shall be given an accounting of their accrued leave at the start of each trimester. Any Employee challenging the reported leave days must do so within thirty (30) days of the report.
Leave Accounting. Employees shall submit a District Record of Absence Form on the day of their return to the work site.
Leave Accounting. Monthly leave attendance reports shall be provided to the office of Personnel Services as part of the monthly attendance accounting. On the twenty- fifth of each month, or Friday if the twenty-fifth is over the weekend, a certificated payroll attendance report shall be submitted identifying the days spent, or projected to be spent, on Association leave, illness leave, or any other approved leave in order for PUSD to accurately account credit toward any leave granted under this agreement and for reporting purposes to STRS. Changes to the monthly report projections taking place after the 25th must be reported separately by email to account for changes. This report, along with the PUSD absence reporting claims, shall be reviewed by the Association President and will be submitted monthly. The Association President shall notify the PUSD of any discrepancies within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the report. The Deputy Superintendent, Pupil and Personnel Services and the President shall resolve such discrepancies promptly with the assistance of appropriate PUSD staff and California Teachers Association representatives.
