Non-Contact Time. Where the employee is appointed to be responsible for the development and implementation of programs of activities, that employee will be allowed not less than 2 paid non-contact hours per week for preparation and planning.

Non-Contact Time. 5.2.1 The non-contact time allocations for secondary teachers are an acknowledgement of the importance to quality education of the duties other than classroom teaching (such as those referred to in 5.1.1(a to c) above) which teachers are required to undertake while schools are open for instruction. 5.2.2 For the purposes of 5.2, non-contact time is based on individual teachers’ timetabled hours comprising a total of 25 hours or a combination of periods of time equivalent to 25 hours per week. 5.2.3 (a) The employer shall provide five timetabled non-contact hours within each school week to each full-time teacher subject to 5.1A above. The non-contact time may be a combination of differing periods of time which total no less than the equivalent of five non-contact hours.
Non-Contact Time. (a) An employee responsible for the preparation, implementation and/or evaluation of a developmental program for an individual child or group of children will be entitled to a minimum of two hours non-contact time per week. During non- contact time, an employee will not be required to supervise children or perform other duties as directed by the employer.‌ (b) An employee appointed as the Educational Leader will be entitled to a minimum of two hours non-contact time per week. During non-contact time, an employee will not be required to supervise children or perform other duties as directed by the employer.‌ NOTE 1: Educational leader is defined in Regulation 118 of the Education and Care Services National NOTE 2: The entitlements at clauses 41.2(a)and 41.2(b) are cumulative. An Educational Leader who also has programming responsibilities for an individual child or group of children will be entitled to a minimum of four hours non-contact time per week.
Non-Contact Time. 50.1 Non-contact time for Classroom Teachers of primary and pre-school-aged students with a full teaching load will be a minimum of three hours per week. 50.2 The provisions under clause 50.1 also apply to all Classroom Teachers with a full teaching load performing duties in the following facilities: (a) special schools and their annexes; (b) intensive English units; (c) gifted units; (d) special education units; (e) special and specific purpose units and classes. 50.3 Non-contact time for Classroom Teachers of secondary aged students in colleges, high schools and area schools is 5 hours and 20 minutes. 50.4 Classroom Teachers employed on a part-time basis will receive non-contact time pro- rata to their teaching load. 50.5 The exception to 50.4 will be Classroom Teachers employed on a part-time basis to facilitate the provision of non-contact time for other Classroom Teachers. These employees are not entitled to non-contact time. 50.6 Non-contact time for Teaching Principals will be provided at five hours and 20 minutes per week. 50.7 Non-contact time for Senior Teachers in school promotion positions is allocated pro-rata to their teaching loads.

Non-Contact Time. Non-contact time (non-teaching non-supervisory) for full-time classroom teachers shall be at least two hundred and sixteen (216) minutes per cycle, exclusive of recess. A part-time teacher is entitled to a prorated share of non-contact time. This minimum time is subject to variation with the agreement of the teacher or where, due to urgent circumstances which were unforeseen when school timetables were established, the Division is required to provide less contact time on a temporary basis.
Non-Contact Time. (a) Subject to clause 5.1.S(b) employees responsible for programming and planning for a group of children shall be allowed 2 and a half paid hours per week away from face to face work with the children in their care. Employees responsible for pre-school programming will be given three and a half hours non contact time. This time is to be spent on planning, preparing, researching and programming activities. (b) Permanent employees responsible for programming the Outside Program shall be entitled to two hours paid non-contact time per week. (c) Permanent employees responsible for programming the Multicultural Program and Sign Language Program shall be entitled to two hours paid noncontact time per week. (d) All employees in charge of a group of children shall be entitled to 1 paid hour every 3 weeks to complete observations and to develop long-term programs. (e) The hours at which such non-contact time will be taken will be decided by the Director/Co-ordinator following discussion with the employee concerned, and provided such time is within the normal working hours of that employee. Wherever possible such non-contact time should be rostered in advance so as to minimise the disruption to the service and the cost impact. (f) Any dispute arising in relation to this clause should be dealt with in accordance with the disputes procedure set out in Part 2 - Communication.
