Shift Supervisors. 7.1.5.1 Stores in which the total clerks’ hours worked exceed four thousand (4,000) hours per month shall employ a minimum of three (3) shift supervisors. Each Shift Supervisor will be compensated in accordance with the wage schedule for shift supervisors set forth in Appendix A. When a store qualifies for four (4) exclusions, a fourth (4th) shift supervisor shall be assigned. 7.1.5.2 To qualify as a shift supervisor store, the aforementioned qualifying hours must be maintained as an average during four (4) of the preceding six (6) months. The evaluation period to determine which stores qualify as “shift supervisor stores” will be from October 1 through March 31 and April 1 through September 30. The necessary adjustments based on this evaluation will be effective the first (1st) payroll period in January and July of each year. Selection of the shift supervisors shall be vested solely in management who will give factors such as seniority, qualifications and intent to remain in the industry full consideration. 7.1.5.3 It is agreed that management trainees shall not be classified as shift supervisors.

Shift Supervisors. CONTRACTOR shall at all times maintain qualified and experienced personnel to manage and oversee CONTRACTOR’s Courtesy and Employee Shuttle Service and provide a high standard of service to the passengers utilizing its services. The Shift Supervisors shall be onsite during all shuttle operating hours for both the Courtesy and Employee Shuttle operation during shuttle service operating hours, failure of the CONTRACTOR to comply with this requirement may result in assessment of penalties in accordance with Attachment CSchedule of Deductions. The responsibilities of the Shift Supervisors shall include, but not be limited to, managing time shuttle intervals and spacing, training employees, communicating instructions, counseling personnel, reviewing driver activity reports, preparing accurate passenger statistical reports, ensuring that service is operated in an efficient, safe, courteous and orderly manner at all times, resolving passenger complaints, ensuring the cleanliness of shuttles, notifying CONTRACTOR’s maintenance shop of shuttle break downs and arranging for shuttle driver replacements. The Shift Supervisors shall report to CONTRACTOR’S Project Manager. Shift Supervisors shall not provide breaks of any kind or act as a relief driver; however, they shall be available for providing temporary backup during peak passenger and Terminal Employee travel periods or when required to maintain passenger wait times. Shift Supervisors may not co-manage or otherwise serve in any other capacity under any other agreement at the Airport, or otherwise fulfill any position of any shift either specified or not specified in the authorized shuttle schedule. CONTRACTOR shall designate in writing to COUNTY Project Coordinator prior to commencement of the CONTRACT the names of CONTRACTOR’s Shift Supervisors. This list shall be updated by COUNTY Project Coordinator and provided to COUNTY Project Coordinator whenever applicable names change.
Shift Supervisors. The Shift Supervisors shall be: i. Assigned day-to-day responsibilities for the DC&S Safety Coordinators on duty; ii. Responsible for scheduling, performance reports, continuing in-service training, crew and program evaluation, and disciplinary action; iii. Armed or unarmed, uniformed and radio-equipped to communicate and allow contact with the Portland Police Bureau Clean & Safe Officers through the District communications center, as well as having access to a vehicle to facilitate quick response times for calls for service; and iv. Full-time with salary based on a 40-hour work week.

In the absence of KRC or Owner’s Representative, Security Director takes responsibility to implement emergency procedures. (8) View CCTV monitor when at lobby console. Operate computer-based CCTV camera controllers and video recorders. (9) Assist visitors to the Building during normal business hours, and provide directions to tenant areas, retail spaces or elevator banks. (10) Observe, monitor and control all entries to the Building, after normal business hours, utilizing the access card reader (located within the console) to verify authorized entry or other security controls established by KRC or Owner’s Representative. (11) Direct all individuals who are making deliveries (other than items which may be hand carried) to the Building to utilize the loading dock elevator during normal business hours. Under no circumstances will any security officer accept deliveries or sign for any packages unless KRC or Owner’s Representative provides prior written approval. KRC or Owner’s Representative shall provide written procedures on the handling of all deliveries and pick-ups after normal business hours. (12) Communicate with lobby console or roving security officers (using hand-held walkie-talkies, intercom or telephone systems) of any observed problems in general area of visual surveillance or viewed on CCTV monitor. (13) Be available to meet with KRC or Owner’s Representative or KRC or Owner’s Representative’s designated representative to review operations and to meet with tenants to discuss security related matters.
