PART-TIME PERSONNEL. A. Personnel budgeted and regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) hours per week or less will receive no benefits and will progress up the salary schedule annually.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. The City of Oakland, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1245, hereinafter referred to as "Union" hereby agree that part time unit members in Unit V will be hired on a temporary basis (not to exceed six (6) months) for special projects, for relief assignments, or to augment the regular workforce. The City may hire such temporary unit members through the Union's hiring hall or from a current City eligible list, provided such unit members meet the City's minimum qualifications for the positions being recruited. Prior to employing part-time personnel, the City will first maximize overtime opportunities for full-time unit members, provided such overtime does not impact maintenance service levels, is economically feasible and does not delay project deadlines. Additionally, in deploying personnel to special projects, the City will, to the extent that it is operationally and economically feasible and does not impact normal maintenance service levels, offer such assignments to its regular unit members before hiring temporary unit members. The City and the Union also agree that the provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding which apply to unit members in Unit V are as follows: Preamble
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. Part-time personnel must work a minimum of 20 hours per week to be eligible for benefits Part-time personnel must have provided a minimum of 540 hours of service in the prior school year to be eligible for advancement on the salary scale.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. 1. The term part-time personnel shall include employees hired to work less than twenty (20) hours per week. Hours worked per week may vary from time to time based upon need; employment may or may not continue from one school year to the next (based upon need) as determined by the appropriate administrator at the individual work locations, temporary employees do not have priority for this position. If such temporary employee applies for and is selected to fill the vacancy, and there is no break in his/her continuity of service, the number of days s/he served as a temporary shall be counted in his/her probationary period.

PART-TIME PERSONNEL. All benefits accrued under these conditions shall be awarded and distributed on a pro rata basis for less than full-time employment.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. Part-time employees who are hired on the salary schedule will have their pay determined by the percent of time per normal workday (8 hours) an employee is required to be at work.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. Regularly employed professional employees considered part-time shall be eligible for pro-rated benefits. Part-time employees shall be defined as those regularly employed professional employees who are employed to work less than the work year designated in Article X of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Part-time professional employees working the equivalent of at least a one-half (1/2) position shall be entitled to all the benefits full-time professional employees receive in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, with the exception that planning time, personal days and sick days shall be pro-rated in proportion to employment status. Part-time professional employees will receive a full year of service toward tenure and permanent certification for each year of employment. In addition, part-time professional employees will receive credit towards seniority on a pro-rata basis for purposes of suspension or furlough as of their date of employment. Part-time professional employees shall be included in the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System in accordance with regulations set forth by the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System. Part-time professional employees shall be required to participate in the in-service days referred to in Article X. They shall receive as compensation the hourly rate for work beyond the school day as provided in Article XVI.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. The union agrees that the Village may use part-time employees in unlimited numbers provided the minimum shift staffing outlined in Article 13 is met. The parties agree that this Article 32 is included in the parties’ bargaining agreement as a quid pro quo in response to the Union’s request to include minimum shift staffing, Article 13, of this Agreement. As a result, the parties agree that for as long as the Village is required to maintain minimum shift staffing as outlined in Article 13 of this Agreement, there shall be no changes to this Article 32, Part-Time Personnel that would diminish the Village’s rights under this Article in any way.
PART-TIME PERSONNEL. 30.01 The Company has the right to hire and/or utilize part-time, temporary and seasonal employees (including vacation replacements) and contract personnel to meet production demands. Such employees shall not be required to join the Union, nor shall they have the benefits and privileges provided or available to regular employees including, but not limited to wages, pension, Health and Welfare Plan, holiday, vacation. Such personnel shall not be utilized without mutual agreement of the Company and Union, which approval shall not be arbitrarily withheld. Such personnel shall have no preferential right to overtime work, except students.
