Payment for work completed. 2.3.1 Payments will be made on a regular monthly basis after receipt of an official invoice on or before the 7th day of each month, following the month for which payments are claimed. Claims received after the 7th day of the month will be carried to the next month for payment. 2.3.2 Claims for payment shall be submitted on a monthly basis and shall consist of the following: (i) Description of work undertaken (ii) Official order (work order signed by the Representative of the Department) (iii) Number of hours worked supported by signed time sheets. (iv) Suppliers Tax Invoices for materials used. (v) Distance travelled in km for every category vehicle over and above that for any work included for in this contract. (vi) Acceptance certificate signed by the Representative of the Department. In the event of the attendance register not being signed and completed, deductions on a pro-rata basis from the monthly progress claims will be made. 2.3.3 Tenderers must clearly state the rates to be charged in the spaces provided, and must complete the Price Schedule. 2.3.4 The Department reserves the right to add to or omit any plant to or from this contract.

Payment for work completed. 4.5.1 Employees will be paid for work completed in regular fortnightly pays, on presentation of satisfactory evidence to the employer of work completed. 4.5.2 Employees will be remunerated at the base rate of pay for any work undertaken in relation to on call work. 4.5.3 Employees will be paid a minimum of 1 hour for any work completed in relation to being on call in a single day. 4.5.4 Multiple episodes of work completed of less than 1 hour in duration are inclusive in the minimum 1 hour remuneration. For example, in the instance where one episode of work is undertaken totalling 15 minutes duration, remuneration is to be for one hour. In the example where two episodes of 15 minutes of work are undertaken, even where these episodes are several hours apart, remuneration is to be for a total of one hour for the two episodes combined. 4.5.5 Work completed in excess of one hour is to be paid to the next highest 15 minute increment. For example, where work completed totals one hour and nine minutes, amount claimed for is one hour and fifteen minutes, or one and one quarter hours.

Monthly progress payments may be requested by the Consulting Engineer for work satisfactorily completed and shall be made by the City to the Consulting Engineer as soon as practicable upon submission of statements requesting payment by the Consulting Engineer to the City. Each statement shall be accompanied by an Invoice Data Sheet as shown in Exhibit I. If the Consulting Engineer prefers, the Invoice Data sheet may serve as the Consulting Engineer’s invoice. 2. The Consulting Engineer shall prepare a monthly progress report indicating the amount of work completed based on the approved scope of work and any approved addendums. The Consulting Engineer shall also prepare a progress chart showing the upper limit of compensation approved by the contract, the planned time of completion, the estimated completion to date, the percentage of the approved contract amount earned, the percentage of elapsed time, and the currently forecasted amount of work required to complete the project. The Consulting Engineer may use an electronic spreadsheet template prepared by the City’s Representative to prepare the progress chart. 3. No payment request made pursuant to subparagraph 1 of this Section V shall exceed the estimated maximum total amount and value of the total work and services to be performed by the Consulting Engineer under this Agreement for that phase or additional service without the prior authorization of the City’s Representative. These estimates have been prepared by the Consulting Engineer and supplemented or accompanied by such supporting data as may be required by the City’s Representative. 4. Upon receipt of a properly invoiced payment request, the City shall pay the amount due less any amounts allowed to be retained or withheld by the City under this Agreement within 60 days of receipt of the invoice. 5. Upon satisfactory completion of the work performed hereunder and prior to final payment under this Agreement, and as a condition precedent thereto, the Consulting Engineer shall execute and deliver to the City’s Representative a release of all claims against the City arising under or by virtue of this Agreement.   • Payment for Overtime 1. Except as provided in 2.C.3., below, overtime shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate. 2. Except as provided in 2.C.3., below, for all regular, limited-term and probationary employees, overtime may be converted to compensatory time or paid for at the option of the agency/department. Consideration shall be given to effectuating the wishes of employees. The maximum number of CTO hours which may be accrued by any employee is eighty (80). If an employee accrues 80 hours of CTO, he/she cannot accrue additional CTO until he/she uses some of the hours in his/her bank; instead, employees will be paid for all overtime work performed in excess of that amount. 3. Overtime hours worked by extra help employees shall be paid. 4. Compensatory time earned and accrued by an employee in excess of thirty-two (32) hours may be scheduled off for an employee by his or her agency/department; however, consideration shall be given to effectuating the wishes of those employees requesting specific compensatory time off periods. 5. No scheduled compensatory time off will be cancelled except in cases of emergency. 6. In no case may an employee's work schedule be changed during the workweek when the purpose of such change is to avoid overtime compensation. 7. Time worked as overtime shall not be used to earn fringe benefits or to serve out probation or merit increase periods. Compensatory time off may be used as part of the established workweek to earn fringe benefits and to serve out probationary and merit increase periods. 8. An employee separating from the County service shall be paid for accumulated compensatory time in a lump sum payment.

  • Commencement and Completion of Work The professional services to be performed pursuant to this Agreement shall commence within five (5) days from the Effective Date of this Agreement. Failure to commence work in a timely manner and/or diligently pursue work to completion may be grounds for termination of this Agreement.
