Personal Leave Incentive. At the end of the school year, all remaining unused personal leave will be cashed-out at a rate of $50 per day unless the teacher elects to convert some or all unused personal days into accumulated sick leave (subject to the sick leave limitations set forth in the Sick Leave Section of this contract) by completing the Leave Incentive Pay Form prior to the end of the school year. In which case, the teacher will be cashed-out only for those days which are not directed to be converted or those which are ineligible for conversion to sick leave.
Personal Leave Incentive. Any employee who does not use any of their allotted personal leave and any dock days during the school year shall at the end of the school year (June 30) be awarded one hundred dollars ($100.00) or an additional day of pay whichever is greater to be included in their last pay check of that school year. An employee who uses one (1) personal day and does not have any dock days during the school year shall, at the end of the school year receive one-half (½) day's pay. Employees who have used two (2) or fewer personal leave days and do not have any dock days during the school year have the option of taking the cash incentive or converting their whole unused personal days to sick leave.
Personal Leave Incentive. A teacher on contract for the full school year who uses no (zero) days of personal leave during the teacher’s contracted school year shall be compensated $200 by July 1 after the conclusion of the school year to be paid into the teacher’s Section 401 (a) annuity account.
Personal Leave Incentive. Bargaining unit employees who have personal leave days remaining at the end of their contract each year will be paid for those unused hours at their hourly rate for that contract year in which they were earned.

Personal Leave Incentive. Each full-time teacher will receive Ninety Dollars ($90.00) for each personal leave day not used. If the teacher does not use any personal days they will receive One-Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each personal day not used. This payment will be made the second payday in June.

Payment will be made by the last pay in June based on the following: Cash in 3 days: $275.00 Cash in 2 days: $175.00 Cash in 1 day: $100.00 In lieu of the cash option, a teacher who has used no personal leave during the school year may elect to convert the three (3) unused days of personal to two (2) sick leave days to be added to the teacher’s accumulated sick leave. The Labor/Management Committee may review the provision and make recommendations to the Board at any time.

As a bonus to employees who enjoy good health and to encourage the retention of sick leave, Council agrees to pay out up to 10% of accrued Personal Leave on retirement, permanent disability, resignation, death or redundancy. Employees who are dismissed are not eligible for this pay out.
