Pyramiding Prohibited. Pyramiding is defined as counting hours paid at a premium (multiplication factor of 1.50) in the calculation to determine if an employee has worked forty (40) hours or more in the work week. Compensation shall not be paid more than once for the same hours under any provision of this Agreement. Hours worked for overtime, call-back and holiday pay shall not be pyramided or duplicated. Once the time has been compensated at the applicable overtime rate, the time does not count again in determining if an employee has forty (40) hours of work in the work week making them eligible for overtime compensation.
Pyramiding Prohibited. Vacation leave hours, holiday hours or other authorized paid leave hours (excluding sick leave and injury leave hours) shall be included in the total of hours determining overtime hours, but in no event shall an employee pyramid overtime.

Unauthorized leave, periods of suspension, absence without leave and other unpaid leaves shall be deducted from the hours worked during the biweekly pay period in which such absences occur, and are not to be considered in paying overtime, and will not allow an employee to receive overtime until he or she shall have actually worked and/or received vacation, compensatory, holiday, personal or wellness time totaling eighty (80) hours in the biweekly period; however, holiday pay received shall not be considered in paying overtime for employees assigned to non-standard week schedule.

If an employee is off on sick or injury leave status during any twenty-four (24) hour day (2400 hrs. - 2359 hrs.) and is in paid status for court or training, the employees sick or injury leave hours will be reduced hour for hour by the minimum amount set for payment in the court and training sections of this Agreement. The employee will not be paid overtime on any such day until sick or injury leave hours for that day have been reduced to zero (0).
Pyramiding Prohibited. Premium pay for holidays shall not be added to or paid in addition to any other pay.
Pyramiding Prohibited. Payment of OT at a premium rate shall not be compounded or paid in addition to any other premium rate paid for work incurred during the same work period. Payment of OT will be calculated at the base rate. Shift premium and compounding of OT will not be included in the calculation.
Pyramiding Prohibited. Notwithstanding any contrary provision, premium payments shall not be duplicated for the same hours worked.
Pyramiding Prohibited. There shall be no pyramiding or duplication of compensation by reason of overtime or holiday or other premium pay provisions of this agreement.
