Recreational Leave. The Superintendent may approve written requests for up to five (5) days of recreational leave without pay. No more than two (2) members of the professional staff will be allowed recreational leave at one time. Recreational leave days shall not be used prior to or following any national holiday or vacation recess, nor is the leave to conflict with conferences or in-service training days. Priority for utilization of recreational leave shall be afforded to those staff member(s) making the earliest requests. Where there is more than one request received concurrently, priority shall be afforded on the basis of seniority.

Recreational leave will not be granted more frequently than once every three school years for a bargaining unit member. Recreational leave days shall not be used prior to or following any school holiday, vacation or recess, nor is the use of recreational leave to conflict with conferences or days on which professional development is scheduled. Priority for the granting of recreational leave shall be given to those staff members making the earliest request.
Recreational Leave. The Company will not set an upper limit on the length of recreational leave accrued and/or taken but will retain the right to direct Employees to take accrued leave, leaving a minimum of 2 weeks when other Employees jobs are at stake through any Company downturn in workload.
Recreational Leave. 2.1. In accordance with the Donor’s Head Contract, personnel with continuous inputs over 6 months duration are entitled to Recreational Leave. Personnel with non-continuous inputs or inputs less than 6 months are not entitled to Recreational Leave. 2.2. The Recreational Leave allowance must be taken at times convenient to the Project. All Recreational Leave must be taken and travel completed prior to the expiration of the Term, unless otherwise approved by the Project Director. 2.3. Recreational Leave accrued during the assignment shall be deemed to be taken in the 12-month period it falls due and cannot be rolled over to the next 12-month period, accumulated or paid out. 2.4. Entitlement to Recreational Leave is effective 30 calendar days from the commencement of this Agreement. If this Agreement is terminated prior to completion of the Term, any Recreational Leave taken that is over and above that which would have accumulated to that point will be deducted from the final payment and any accrued Recreational Leave not taken will be added to and included within the Finish Date when determining the Finish Date. 2.5. Recreational Leave must be taken at times convenient to the Project to minimise disruption. Unless otherwise agreed to us, no Recreational Leave may be taken within the last 30 calendar days of the Term.

The saved leave will not be paid out. - The hours saved for the long-range variant are paid to employees in permanent employment who leave service if it is impossible to take out the hours of leave before the date of dismissal. In case of death saved hours are also paid. - Note that the employer is obligated to put the monetary value of an employee’s saved leave aside on a blocked account with an independent financial institution as a savings bank or savings fund.

Recreational Leave. In this clause: (a) Permanent Funeral Services Employees are entitled to a maximum of five (5) days per Calendar Year as recreational leave in addition to any other leave entitlements under this Agreement (‘Recreation Days’). (f) Recreational Leave must not be taken as part of a long weekend or in conjunction with any other leave. (g) Recreational Leave may be taken for whole days only and not part of a day.
