Representatives Time Off. A representative or Union Officer shall be allowed reasonable time off with pay for the purposes herein above defined, subject to the concurrence of his/her department head or his/her designated representative. Such concurrence shall not be unreasonably withheld. Time off shall be prescheduled.
Representatives Time Off. The Association designated representatives, elected or appointed, will be granted paid time during work hours at the District’s facilities from their regular school duties, upon approval of superintendent to attend meetings of importance to the designated representative. Such meetings will be scheduled so as not to interfere with normal school duties whenever possible. Designated representatives shall provide their immediate supervisor with written notice of the need to perform the activities listed above at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the time at which the activities will be performed.
Representatives Time Off. The City will allow designated Western Council representative(s) reasonable time off without loss of compensation during regular working hours to conduct Memorandum of Understanding maintenance business and other business within the scope of representation including service on a negotiating team. Prior approval of the designated representative’s supervisor is required before the conduct of the Western Council business, and time spent must be reported in a manner prescribed by departmental policy (payroll time sheet) and the employer-employee relations resolution of the City.
