Representatives Time Off. A representative or Union Officer shall be allowed reasonable time off with pay for the purposes herein above defined, subject to the concurrence of his/her department head or his/her designated representative. Such concurrence shall not be unreasonably withheld. Time off shall be prescheduled.

Representatives Time Off. The Association representatives, elected or appointed, may be granted time off, without pay, from their regular school duties, upon advanced approval of the Superintendent, to attend meetings of importance to the Association. Such meetings will be scheduled so as not to interfere with normal school duties whenever possible.
Representatives Time Off. The City will allow designated Western Council representative(s) reasonable time off without loss of compensation during regular working hours to conduct Memorandum of Understanding maintenance business and other business within the scope of representation including service on a negotiating team. Prior approval of the designated representative’s supervisor is required before the conduct of the Western Council business, and time spent must be reported in a manner prescribed by departmental policy (payroll time sheet) and the employer-employee relations resolution of the City.

New employees shall be allowed to attend a New Employee Orientation within 30 calendar days from their date of hire for a period of at least 30 minutes that may take place during work hours without loss of compensation or benefits.   • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.

  • Time Off The company recognises that sufficient time off to attend to personal matters and for recreation are important to the employee’s wellbeing, job satisfaction and overall productivity.   • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

  • Bereavement During Vacation Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a bereavement, the employee shall be entitled to bereavement leave in accordance with Article 12.

Immediate Family is defined as spouse, children, grandchildren, brother, sister, parents, grandparents and parent-in-law, brother/sister-in-law except that a relative living in the same household may, for the purpose of this section, be considered as of the immediate family. Two (2) of the sick days will not be chargeable to the employee's sick day bank. B. All employees may use up to five (5) sick days for illness in the immediate family. The employer may require verification of illness. Immediate family includes spouse and children.

  • Sick Leave Separation Cash Out At the time of retirement from state service or at death, an eligible employee or the employee’s estate will receive cash for their compensable sick leave balance on a one (1) hour for four (4) hours basis. For the purposes of this Section, retirement will not include “vested out of service” employees who leave funds on deposit with the retirement system.
