Retroactive Compensation. Grievance claims involving retroactive compensation shall be limited to ninety (90) calendar days; prior to the written submission of the grievance to Employer representatives, provided, however, that this ninety (90) day limitation may be waived by mutual consent of the parties. This does not however limit compensation going forward after a grievance is filed.

Retroactive Compensation. Compensation paid pursuant to this Article shall be paid only to unit members who are officially employed by the San Diego Unified School District at the time of Board of Education adoption of the 2014-2015, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 salary schedules, respectively, and to unit members who retire or are laid off between July 1 and the date of Board adoption in the applicable year.

Retroactive Compensation. The Employer agrees to pay all employees who are on the payroll as of the date ratification 2016 of this Agreement, retroactive compensation for all hours worked, including paid vacation, from Sunday October 25, 2015 to the Sunday after ratification 2016 of the collective agreement. This retroactivity shall be paid within thirty (30) days of ratification to all current bargaining unit employees. To illustrate how these extra off-scale bumps work, please refer to the examples below: Example #1 Active employees who are on the payroll as of ratification 2016 and are currently at $10.45 on the wage scale:  $0.25 will be added to the current rate of $10.45 at date of ratification. The new rate of $10.70 will be paid retroactively for all hours worked back on October 25, 2015.  This employees rate will increase to $10.75 after 3000 hours worked at which time they will advance to the next step on the wage scale, OR,  $0.25 will be added to the current rate of $10.70 on October 23, 2016 for a new rate of $10.95, whichever of these two comes first.  $0.25 will be added to the employees’ rate of pay on October 22, 2017. Example #2 Active employees who are on the payroll as of ratification 2016 and are currently at $10.45 on the wage scale:  $0.25 will be added to the current rate of $12.45 at date of ratification. The new rate of $12.70 will be paid retroactively for all hours worked back to October 25, 2015.  This employees rate will increase to $13.20 after 7000 hours worked at which time they will advance to the next step on the wage scale, OR,  $0.25 will be added to the current rate of $12.70 on October 23, 2016 for a new rate of $12.95, whichever of these two comes first.  $0.25 will be added to the employees’ rate of pay on October 22, 2017. Retroactive Compensation. The Base Salary will be retroactive to February 1, 2006. This Retroactive Compensation will be paid out in conjunction with the Annual Performance Bonus in Section 3(c).

For physicians who delivered inpatient care at the Community Hospital pursuant to an alternative payment plan during the retroactivity period: • Stipend in Retro Period = Daily (non-call) stipend calculated at site multiplied by # days in retro period • APP billing share = % of total inpatient xxxxxxxx (shadow & FFS) made by APP group in retro period • APP inpatient $ = Sum of each APP physician’s APP FTE dedicated to inpatient work. This is the FTE amount that will be reduced from their contract when they join CHIP. • Retro Payment = the amount that the APP group of physicians gets to divide amongst themselves.

Retroactive Compensation. Any retroactive compensation due upon execution of this 2024 Agreement will be paid on the next regular payday which is more than forty-five (45) days from the date this Agreement is fully executed.

Such Signing Bonus shall be paid within sixty (60) days of the Commencement Date. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Signing Bonus shall be paid in installments or delayed (but not later than March 15, 2009) to the extent necessary or appropriate for the Company to (a) maintain its covenants under any loan, credit or financing arrangement, including maintenance of such covenants taking into consideration any pro forma results stemming from any business initiatives of the Company or (b) meet its cash flow needs.
