Standby and call outs. 36.1 An Employee rostered to be on-call (standby) on a Saturday or a Sunday will be credited four hours leave in lieu for each day they are on-call. Where the National Operations and Maintenance Manager, or their delegate approves a second Employee to be on call that Employee will be entitled to the four hours leave in lieu for each day they are on-call.
Standby and call outs. 1. Employees agree that they will participate in a weekly standby roster that will operate from Thursday to Thursday. The roster will be developed in consultation with employees and will cater for emergencies that extend past ordinary working hours, e.g. flooding, bushfire, vehicle and adverse weather.

Provided that any other employee not on standby who is called in to work shall be paid a minimum of four hours or for all time worked on that day (whichever is greater). An employee on standby on a public holiday will be credited eight hours leave in lieu, in addition to time paid for time actually worked on that day. Provided that any other employee not on standby who is called in to work shall be paid a minimum of four hours for all time worked on that day. Employees shall be entitled upon termination to be paid out at their flat hourly rate any outstanding leave in lieu not taken.

  • Standby Time All standby time shall be considered as regular hours worked and shall be compensated on a straight time or overtime basis as are other hours worked under this Agreement.

  • Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of $3.30 per hour for all hours on standby. Effective September 29, 2016, where such standby duty falls on a paid holiday, as set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions, the employee shall receive standby pay in the amount of $4.90 per hour. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article 15.06 above and works during the period of standby.
