Training and accreditation. 17.1 Training requirements for the Designated Pharmacist and Pharmacy Staff involved in provision of service are: 17.1.1 Mandatory training is provided by WDP Cheshire West and Chester Service for the pharmacy team involved in the provision of the service. This training informs on good practice, health and safety and other issues deemed appropriate. 17.1.2 It is pharmacist’s responsibility to recommend and put forward relevant staff member (s) for training as it is desirable that key members of pharmacy staff are also appropriately trained. 17.1.3 All community pharmacists providing the service should complete an appropriate distance learning pack from the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE). A copy of the certificate must be available for monitoring and investigation visits. 17.1.6 The designated pharmacist must read and sign the relevant SOPs for the service. 17.1.7 Pharmacists providing this service will be expected to participate in appropriate Continuing Professional Development in compliance with the criteria set out by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). 17.1.8 The Designated Pharmacist must ensure that copies of CPPE certification and updated record of training undertaken by the designated pharmacists, second pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and staff are retained at the pharmacy as required by the scheme. Training and accreditation. Pharmacists participating in this scheme will be required to attend a mandatory annual training session. It is desirable that key members of pharmacy staff are also appropriately trained. It is the pharmacist’s responsibility to recommend and put forward relevant staff member(s) for training. Mandatory training is provided by WDP Cheshire West and Xxxxxxx for all community pharmacy staff involved in the provision of the service. This training informs on good practice, health and safety and other issues deemed appropriate. All community pharmacists providing the service should complete an appropriate distance learning pack from the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE). Pharmacists providing this service will be expected to participate in appropriate Continuing Professional Development in compliance with the criteria set out by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Training and accreditation. 6.1 Those GPs who have previously provided services similar to this service and who satisfy at appraisal and revalidation that they have such continuing medical experience, training and competence as is necessary to enable them to contract for the service and shall be deemed professionally qualified to do so. 6.2 It is expected that the doctor will already have or will complete the Royal College of General Practice (RCGP) course part 1 within six months of signing up. 6.3 At a minimum, the doctor (supported by a substance misuse worker within the Community Drug and Alcohol team) should have the skills to:  Contact the Shared Care Worker with any problems concerning the prescription.  Identify and treat the common complications of drug misuse.  Carry out an assessment of a patient’s drug use.  Assess and refer appropriately, patients for drug misuse substitution treatment; utilise the range of commonly used treatment options available for treatment including pharmacological interventions  Undertake an alcohol use assessment via the AUDIT screening toolii.  Provide harm reduction advice to a service user or his or her family.  Provide drug information to carers and users as to the effects, xxxxx and treatment options for various common drugs of use.  Test (or refer for testing) for other viruses, including HIV, Hepatitis C, liver function tests.  Offer vaccinations for Hepatitis A and B.  Work in an appropriate multidisciplinary manner. 6.4 The doctor should also actively engage with development and networking opportunities provided by the local provider to ensure ongoing PDP within this area of work.
Training and accreditation. 4.2.1 Umpires are requested to meet the obligations for both training and accreditation as outlined in the Umpire Handbook. These obligations do not warrant however a breach to conduct or behaviour as outlined by 2.4.1.7.

Casual employees may be required from time to time at the direction of ASADA to undertake training to obtain or maintain accreditation required for the performance of his/her duties. The time taken to undertake this training will be paid in accordance with the payment rates for the casual classifications.

Training and accreditation. 22.1.1 Forests NSW will at its own expense make provision for the fire fighting training and fire fighting accreditation of the Contractor’s employees, servants and subcontractors, and the subcontractors’ employees, involved in Harvesting Operations (the Contractor’s harvesting personnel). 22.1.2 If requested by Forests NSW the Contractor must require each of its harvesting personnel, as soon as practical after each such person is engaged by the Contractor to participate in Harvesting Operations, to undertake Forests NSW’ fire fighting training course and become an accredited fire fighter under that course (an accredited fire fighter), unless that person is exempted in writing from the course by Forests NSW because of physical disability or other sufficient reason (an exempted person). 22.1.3 The Contractor must not permit: (a) a person who is not an exempted person and who refuses to undertake Forests NSW’ fire fighting training course; or (b) a person who undertakes Forests NSW’ fire fighting training course but failed to attain accreditation because in the reasonable opinion of Forests NSW the person failed to make a bona fide attempt;

  • Licensing and Accreditation Except where the failure to do so could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect, each of the Borrower and the Restricted Subsidiaries, and to the knowledge of the Responsible Officers of the Loan Parties, each Contract Provider (i) has obtained (or been duly assigned) all required certificates of need or determinations of need as required by the relevant state Governmental Authority for the acquisition, construction, expansion of, investment in or operation of its businesses as currently operated; (ii) has obtained and maintains accreditation from one or more generally recognized accreditation agencies where such accreditation is customary in the industry in which it is engaged; (iii) in the case of each HMO Subsidiary, has entered into and maintains in good standing its contract with CMS or such other agreement to be able to provide managed health care services to Medicare or Medicaid; and (iv) has taken all necessary action to obtain, preserve and maintain each certificate of authority, license, permit, authorization and other approval of any Governmental Authority required for the conduct of its business and material to the business of the Borrower and its Restricted Subsidiaries taken as a whole, and all of such certificates, licenses, permits, authorizations or approvals are in full force and effect and have not been revoked or suspended or otherwise limited, including action to obtain, preserve and maintain with respect to each HMO Subsidiary all certificates of authority, licenses, permits, authorizations and other approvals required under the HMO Regulations or other regulations issued by the applicable Governmental Authority, including approvals required to ensure that such HMO Subsidiary and Insurance Subsidiary is eligible for all reimbursements available under the HMO Regulations or other regulations issued by the applicable Governmental Authority, and all of such certificates, licenses, permits, authorizations or approvals are in full force and effect and have not been revoked or suspended or otherwise limited. To the knowledge of the Responsible Officers of the Loan Parties, each Contract Provider is duly licensed (where license is required) by each state or state agency or commission, or any other Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the provisions of such services by such Person in the locations in which the Loan Parties conduct business, required to enable such Person to provide the professional services provided by such Person and otherwise as is necessary to enable the Loan Parties to operate as currently operated and as presently contemplated to be operated except to the extent that the failure to do so could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect. To the knowledge of the Responsible Officers of the Loan Parties, all such required licenses are in full force and effect on the date hereof and have not been revoked or suspended or otherwise limited except to the extent that the failure to do so could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training

  • LICENSING, ACCREDITATION AND REGISTRATION The Contractor shall comply with all applicable local, state, and federal licensing, accreditation and registration requirements or standards necessary for the performance of this Contract.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Licensure The Contractor covenants that it has: (a) obtained all of the applicable licenses or permits, permanent, temporary or otherwise as required by Title 27 of the Virgin Islands Code; and (b) familiarized itself with the applicable provisions of Title 27 of the Virgin Islands Code pertaining to professions and occupations.

  • Cooperation and Access The Cooperative Member agrees that it will cooperate in compliance with any reasonable requests for information and/or records made by the Cooperative. The Cooperative reserves the right to audit the relevant records of any Cooperative Member. Any breach of this provision shall be considered material and shall make the Agreement subject to termination on ten (10) days written notice to the Cooperative Member.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING Employees may be tested for drugs and/or alcohol pursuant to the provisions of the Employer's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement as if more fully set forth herein.
