Training Rates a) All employees hired after the date of ratification of this collective agreement will be paid at the following Training Wage Rate: Training Wage Rate Time From Date of Hire 0-6 Months 70% of the rate of job position being performed 7-12 Months 80% of the rate of job position being performed 13-18 Months 90% of the rate of job position being performed 19-24 Months 95% of the rate of job position being performed Note: As a result of this change Article 15 Section 1(c) will be deleted. This training wage will not apply to Tradesmen and Steam Engineers positions A trainee who is "double banked" will continue to receive his previous job rate for such duration. The new job rate will apply when he takes responsibility for the job.

Training Rates. Employees during an initial training period shall receive the appropriate training rate for the position.

From the Effective Date of this Agreement through December 31, 1999 ATG agrees to supply Sun with end-user training, at Sun designated sites, worldwide, at a fee of [**] per day per class. Class sizes is limited to ten (10) students (plus the reasonable cost of travel and related expenses for travel outside the Boston, Massachusetts area and further provided that ATG obtains the written approval of Sun for such cost, or estimated cost, prior to their incursion). Training at ATG designated facilities shall be at the rate of four hundred and ninety five dollars per student per day. ATG further commits that all trainers supplied by ATG shall have competent knowledge of Sun's Unix/Solaris operating systems.

Training Rates. The College, at its discretion, will re-post open maintenance positions for which there are no internally qualified candidates to be “positions in training.” The posting will list the qualifications to be eligible as well as how candidates will be evaluated for selection. In the event candidates are deemed equally qualified, the candidate with the highest seniority will be awarded the position. The candidate who is awarded the position will receive a $1.25 per hour increase during the training. If the candidate is successful in completing the training in the timeframe provided for in the posting, the employee will be moved into the maintenance position and paid the corresponding hourly wage.
Training Rates. Trainer: A premium of per hour shall be paid to any employee for any hours in which that employee is engaged in training another employee at the request of the Employer, except during apprenticeship training.
Training Rates. When employees are being trained and are an ‘extra’ to normal allocation they will be paid at the LPP / LPO / LCE 1 rate, if the employee is being trained within the team, and performing operational duties, they will be paid as per the appropriate rate described above.

iv) If the employee meets the requirements for the position prior to the completion of the work plan, his salary shall be adjusted to the minimum of the regular range on the first of the next pay period.
