Union Use of Bulletin Boards. The Company agrees to the posting by the Union on scheduling boards, of announcements regarding elections, meetings, negotiation developments and the internal affairs of the Union, provided such notices are authorized by Management. Such authorization will not be unreasonably withheld.

Up to three (3) employees may accept a full-time elective position with the Union or an official labour body for a not exceeding four (4) years, or a full- time appointive position with the Union for a period not exceeding two (2) years. Any additional yearly periods may be granted by the Company on receipt of a written request from the employee and the President of the Union. Upon written request by the Union, the Company agrees to release without loss of pay at the basic rate or leave credits, three (3) employees named by the Union in order to attend grievance meetings with the Company as provided for in Article 6; but any time spent in such meetings shall not be considered for the purpose of determining overtime pay if the meetings extend beyond a normal tour. Negotiating Committee Upon request by the Union, the Company agrees to release, without loss of pay or leave credits, six (6) employees named by the Union, in order to attend negotiation meetings with the Company. Any time spent in such meetings shall not be considered for the purpose of determining overtime pay if the meetings extend beyond the normal tour.
