Vacation and Public Holidays. The Employee shall be entitled to four (4) weeks paid vacation per year of employment (accrued on a monthly basis) provided that the Employee shall schedule such vacation time with the agreement of the CEO and shall use his best efforts to schedule such vacation time so as not to substantially interfere with the Employer’s business. Vacation must be taken within 24 months of the date upon which such vacation accrued to the Employee, and any vacation not taken by such date shall be forfeited subject to the requirements of the Ontario Employment Standards Act. The Employee shall also be entitled to take all paid public holidays customarily extended by the Employer to executive employees of the Employer.

Vacation and Public Holidays. The reference period for calculating vacation entitlement is the calendar year. In the event that the hiring or the end of the employment relationship happens during the course of the year, vacation is calculated in proportion to time.
