Wellness Leave. A. Employees shall schedule the wellness leave with their immediate supervisor as far in advance as is possible. Employees will be required to notify their immediate supervisor within the time limits established by the Sheriff. In no event, however, may wellness leave be taken with less than twenty-four (24) hours’ notice.
Wellness Leave. Up to 8 hours of sick leave per calendar year may be used by an employee for the purpose of attending an approved County wellness program. An employee must have a balance of no less than 40 hours of sick leave accrued at the time the leave is to be used to attend the wellness program. If the employee’s accrual balance contains donated catastrophic or other leave hours, the employee must accrue the necessary 40 hours on his/ her own before the sick leave can be used for attending approved wellness programs. The employee must have the prior approval of the employee's department head (or designee) to use sick leave to attend the program. A department head may not capriciously, arbitrarily, or consistently deny the use of said leave.
Wellness Leave. A Full-time Employee who is employed in the LPN classification on July 1st in any year would be eligible to one (1) Wellness Day with pay to be taken within the next twelve (12) months.
Wellness Leave. Wellness Leave of one day may be taken if all eligibility requirements are met. This leave shall be available to Bargaining Unit members who are employed by the District the entire preceding school year and took no sick leave. The use of bereavement leave as part of sick leave shall not disqualify a teacher for this leave. Taking the leave itself shall not disqualify a teacher from taking it the next year. The leave will not be cumulative. If a Member of the Bargaining Unit chooses, s/he may elect to take a $60 check instead of the extra day of personal leave.
Wellness Leave. In addition to sick leave credits, full time employees shall be granted sixty (60) hours of Wellness Leave per year. These may be used at the employee's discretion, when an employee feels unable to report to work, but cannot be accumulated.
Wellness Leave. Up to eight (8) hours of sick leave per calendar year may be used by an employee for the purpose of attending an approved County Wellness Program. An employee must have a balance of no less than forty (40) hours of sick leave accrued at the time the leave is to be used to attend the Wellness Program. The employee must have the prior approval of the employee's Department Head (or designee) to attend the program. A Department Head may not capriciously, arbitrarily, or consistently deny the use of said leave.
Wellness Leave. The University will provide a ½ day of paid wellness each quarter to each HSO, beginning June 30, 2017 for the purpose of attending to their personal health and well- being. A quarter’s accrual may be saved up to an additional quarter, to use in conjunction with the next quarter’s accrual for a total of 1 full day every half-year.
Wellness Leave. If a Sworn Firefighter Personnel fulfills the obligation established by the human resource department in the wellness program, the Sworn Firefighter Personnel is eligible to take a Wellness leave for one shift equivalent, in the following fiscal year. Wellness leave can be taken in one hour increments.
Wellness Leave. 25.24 NAIT is committed to Employee wellness. To support this initiative, one (1) Wellness day per calendar year shall be granted to the Employee.
Wellness Leave. 21.04.01 Full time Employees will be granted one hundred and twelve (112) hours a year of wellness leave at the beginning of each calendar year. Part time Employees will be granted ninety (90) hours a year of wellness leave at the beginning of each calendar year.
