Xxxx Leave Credit. 1. A Flight Attendant who is unable to perform his/her assigned duty due to illness or injury will be paid for trip(s) missed and will have the value of the trip(s) deducted from accrued sick leave. For a Reserve Flight Attendant unavailable due to illness or injury on a reserve day, the amount paid and deducted will be three (3.0) hours. 2. For personnel record keeping and pay purposes, a Flight Attendant shall not be considered on sick leave on the days he/she was not scheduled to be available for flight duty. 3. For sick leave occurrence purposes, sick calls for consecutive reserve days or touching trips shall be considered one occurrence.

Xxxx Leave Credit. 1. A flight attendant who is unable to perform her/his assigned trip(s) due to illness or injury will be credited for the scheduled value of the trip(s) missed, and will have the scheduled value of the trip(s) missed deducted from her/his sick leave bank. A flight attendant who flies a portion of such a trip will be credited with the portion flown. 2. A flight attendant on reserve who is unable to perform assigned duty as a result of illness or injury shall be credited the value of a reserve day, and such hours will be deducted from her/his sick leave bank. 3. A flight attendant who has no available or insufficient sick leave credit in her/his sick leave bank, and who cannot perform her/his assigned trip/duty due to illness or injury, will have her/his monthly guarantee adjusted accordingly. The adjustment will normally be made in the second pay period of each bid month.

A Principal or Vice-Principal is not eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity after August 31, 2012, except a sick leave credit gratuity that the Principal or Vice- Principal had accumulated and was eligible to receive as of that day. 2. If the Principal or Vice-Principal is eligible to receive a sick leave credit gratuity, upon the Principal or Vice-Principal’s retirement, the gratuity shall be paid out at the lesser of, a) the rate of pay specified by the Board’s system of sick leave credit gratuities that applied to the Principal or Vice-Principal on August 31, 2012; and b) the Principal or Vice-Principal’s salary as of August 31, 2012. 3. For greater clarity, all eligibility requirements must have been met as of August 31, 2012 to be eligible for the aforementioned payment upon retirement, and the parties agree that any and all wind-up payments to which Principal or Vice-Principals without the necessary years of service were entitled to under Ontario Regulation 01/13: Sick Leave Credits and Sick Leave Credit Gratuities, have been paid. 5. For the purposes of the following Boards, despite anything in the Board’s system of sick leave credit gratuities, it is a condition of eligibility to receive a sick leave credit gratuity that the Principal or Vice-Principal have ten (10) years of service with the Board: i. Near North District School Board ii. Avon Maitland District School Board iii. Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxxxxxx District School Board
Xxxx Leave Credit. Employees may accumulate sick leave at the rate of 1-1/4 days per month up to 15 days per year. A total of 315 days may be accumulated and the unused sick leave is transferable within the State of Ohio. Employees transferring to the Xxxxxx-Xxxxxxx-Salem Schools will submit a statement of sick leave credit signed by the treasurer or Superintendent of schools or his/her designee. Xxxx Leave Credit. 1. Sick leave credit shall be granted on an annual basis for a Flight Attendant on her/his anniversary date (or adjusted anniversary date, if applicable) in accordance with the following schedule: Less than 1 year 0 6 years and over 6 days Beginning with the fourth (4th) year of this Agreement, those employees with six (6) or more years of Active Service shall receive seven (7) days of paid sick leave. 2. For purposes of this Section, fifteen (15) or more days of Active Service shall constitute a full month of service. 3. Family and Medical Leave Bank (“FML Bank”) a. A Flight Attendant’s unused sick leave will be transferred to her/his FML Bank on her/his anniversary date (or adjusted anniversary date, if applicable) b. The FML Bank will be capped at seventy-five (75) days. In the event a Flight Attendant’s FML Bank is capped on her/his anniversary date, any unused sick leave will be forfeited. c. The FML Bank may be used solely for qualified leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”). A Flight Attendant will use her/his FML Bank when she/he is taking an FML for a spouse child, parent, or other person specified in the FMLA or implementing regulations. d. A Flight Attendant will use time from her/his FML Bank prior to using her/his sick leave when she/he is on FML for her/his own FMLA qualified absence. i. A Flight Attendant using her/his FML Bank for an entire Bid Month will be paid the MPG and her/his FML Bank will be reduced by nineteen (19) days. ii. A Flight Attendant using her/his FML Bank for a partial Bid Month will receive pay and credit for Duty Days worked. Additionally, her/his FML Bank will be reduced by the number of Duty Days missed due to the FML and she/he will be credited with 3.43 hours of pay for those days. 4. Days which a Flight Attendant has in her/his FML Bank at the inception of this Agreement will be carried over. 5. Any sick leave available for use on the date of ratification will continue to be available for use and will remain available until those days are required to transfer to a Flight Attendant’s FML Bank, if applicable. Any extra sick leave days to which a Flight Attendant would have accrued if the Agreement had been in effect on her/his anniversary date falling within the calendar year of ratification will be added to her/his available sick leave. 6.   • Sick Leave Credit All employees shall be able to draw on a block of six (6) days sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credit, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.

  • Military Service Credit The City’s contract with CalPERS provides the Military Service Credit option set forth in Government Code section 21024.

Purchaser shall, or shall cause its Affiliates (including the Purchased Entities) to, (i) waive any preexisting condition limitations otherwise applicable to Transferred Employees and their eligible dependents under any plan of Purchaser or any Affiliate of Purchaser that provides health or life benefits in which the Transferred Employees may be eligible to participate following the Closing, other than any limitations that were in effect with respect to a Transferred Employee as of the Closing under the analogous Employee Benefit Plan, (ii) honor any deductible, co-payment and out-of-pocket maximums incurred by the Transferred Employees and their eligible dependents under the health plans in which they participated immediately prior to the Closing during the portion of the calendar year prior to the Closing in satisfying any deductibles, co-payments or out-of-pocket maximums under health plans of Purchaser or any of its Affiliates in which they are eligible to participate after the Closing in the same plan year in which such deductibles, co-payments or out-of-pocket maximums were incurred and (iii) waive any waiting period limitation or evidence of insurability requirement that would otherwise be applicable to a Transferred Employee and his or her eligible dependents on or after the Closing, in each case to the extent such Transferred Employee or eligible dependent had satisfied any similar limitation or requirement under an analogous Employee Benefit Plan prior to the Closing.

  • Unused Sick Leave The accrual of unused sick leave hours is unlimited. The City and the Union commit to the evaluation and establishment of a mutually beneficial non-use of sick leave incentive and pay-out policy. Until such time that a policy is established, accumulated sick leave shall be compensated as follows: Upon retirement from the City service, an employee shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated sick leave, with the rate of payment based upon his regular pay at the time he retires. Upon the death of an employee, his beneficiary shall be paid sixty percent (60%) of his accumulated unused sick leave, with the payment based upon his regular pay at the date of his death.
