HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. For all regular scheduled hours worked on the afternoon shift there shall be paid a premium of forty-five cents ($.45) per hour.
HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. For all regular scheduled hours worked on the night shift there shall be paid a premium of ninety cents ($.90) per hour. 12.3 A premium shall be paid for straight-time hours worked by employees on their regularly assigned shifts on Saturday and Sunday. The amount of the premium shall be one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) per hour for such work performed on Saturday, and one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) and per hour for such work performed on Sunday. The premium will not be paid for hours worked at overtime or on Statutory Holidays. Work performed during the period commencing at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday and ending at 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday shall be deemed to be Saturday work; work performed during the period commencing at 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday and ending at 7:00 a.m. on a Monday shall be deemed to be Sunday work.
HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. 1. Continuous 12-Hour Rotating Shift: Where an employee rotates on a twelve (12) hour schedule between the day and night shift. 2. Sliding 12-Hour Day Shift: Where an employee works a twelve (12) hour day shift schedule that continuously rotates days worked during the week. 3. The regular work week for employees on the continuous 12 hour rotating shifts and sliding 12 hour day shift will be Monday through Sunday (based on the 12-hour schedule presented). (Monday is defined 5:45 p.m. Sunday night ending 6:15 a.m. Monday for the 12-hour rotating shifts) 4. Normal work hours for the continuous 12-hour rotating shifts will be as defined in Article 13, Section 1G. 5. Normal work hours for the sliding 12-hour day shifts will be as defined in Article 13, Section 1G. 6. PTO will be based on hours and must be scheduled in accordance with Article 12. 7. Employees on 12-hour shifts will have the flexibility of taking and being paid for either 40 or 48 hours of PTO pay when scheduling one of their 48-hour weeks off, as PTO.

HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. Shift/Overtime Committee shall determine the shift schedules to be worked and failure to agree upon a shift schedule will result in a reversion to the provisions under the basic Agreement. The Company's right to implement shift schedules and the Union's right to grieve shall not be inhibited by this Agreement. This Agreement may be terminated within seven (7) days upon receipt of written notice by either party. For the purposes of this Agreement, the implementation or termination of a twelve (12) hour work schedule shall not result in the payment of any overtime hours or any other premiums which would otherwise be applicable. HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. In the event that an employee is changed from one shift or schedule to another, either by a change in work schedule or by promotions or demotions in the lines of progression, he shall work the schedule he has been changed to for his regular straight time hourly rate, but he shall not work more than one hundred and sixty (160) hours in any twenty-eight (28) day period. Applicable overtime rates for shift changes shall be paid for all hours worked over one hundred and sixty (160).
HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. Subject to operational requirements, employees may complete their weekly hours of employment in a period other than five (5) days provided that over a period to be determined by the Employer, employees work an average of the hours of work outlined in In every such period, employees shall be granted days of rest on days not scheduled as normal work days for them. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Agreement the implementation of any variation in hours shall not result in any additional overtime work or additional payment by reason only of such variation, nor shall it be deemed to prohibit the right of the Employer to schedule any hours of work permitted by the terms of this Agreement. Any special arrangement may be at the request of either party and must be mutually agreed between the Employer and the majority of employees affected and shall apply to all employees in the work unit. The Employer recognizes the Duty Managers' preference and agrees to maintain twelve (12) hour for as long as the Employer requires a twenty-four (24) hours a day coverage.
HOUR SHIFT SCHEDULES. The parties agree to the following regarding the implementation of ten (10) hour shifts at the Blubber Bay Quarry facility.
